  1. Boeing unveils new F-15 Silent Eagle

Its Boeing - who knows where it could go - what else did they build - oh yeah - B-52 Megafortress anyone :)
  2. Boeing unveils new F-15 Silent Eagle

How can they claim that anyway when the F-35 is still in its dev stage Be interesting to see cost comparison between this and the FA-18E/F
  3. Have flown the A-4KU in single missions - dont even get chaff/flares with that - still they didnt manage to get me yet - may stick it in the campaign at some point and see if I can get me some MiG-29s!! Need to adjust all my tactics again for this time period!! - the MiGs are a massive threat but luckily there are a lot of allied planes about in the campaigns so best to avoid them if your on a strike.
  4. Boeing unveils new F-15 Silent Eagle

Wow - didnt see that coming Internal AMRAAM carriage - good Stealthy coating - good same frontal RCS as the exported F-35 - find that VERY hard to believe!!! potentially export customers could go for this over the SuperBug
  5. File Name: Remove the red planes from the in flight Map File Submitter: MigBuster File Submitted: 12 March 2009 File Category: Planning Maps/Icons/Base Mods Game not challenging enough? - why not stop red planes appearing on the map! Just download and copy MAPENEMYICON.tga to your "Flight folder" ie "C:\......\WingsOverVietnam\Flight" If you feel like you are getting shot down to much afterwards - just delete MAPENEMYICON.tga again and all will revert to normal....easy hey tested in WOI / WOV but should work in SF/WOV/WOE/WOI/FE Note about SF2: This will work in the strike Fighters 2 series - however TK kindly included these options in the HUDDATA.ini file (which you would need to extract from the flightdata.cat file) from June 2009 which can just be set to true or false as you need - so you can acheive the same thing from here: [HUDLabels] EnableLabels=FALSE LabelFriendlyAir=TRUE LabelFriendlyGround=TRUE LabelEnemyAir=TRUE LabelEnemyGround=TRUE [MapLabels] EnableLabels=FALSE LabelFriendlyAir=TRUE LabelFriendlyGround=TRUE LabelEnemyAir=TRUE LabelEnemyGround=TRUE MiGBuster 2009 Click here to download this file
  6. Iranian drone 'shot down in Iraq'

I Remember Isreal shooting down an Iranian made Hazbollah UAV with a Python on 2006 - if that was ever confirmed. Of course we know the Russians use missiles on UAVs - that is almost certain lol And the Iraqi air force finally got a kill before 2003 using a missile against a UAV - also on film!
  7. Iranian drone 'shot down in Iraq'

Dunno may be safer to use a missile than to slow down and hit a tiny target with guns - be interesting to know what missile they used if they did.
  8. Good Luck Charm

Join the club - sigh! all my attempts at lucky charms when younger have the items even more unlucky!! - so no ive given up on that - best to keep it real!
  9. Iranian drone 'shot down in Iraq'

Aww they shot down their remote control plane!! Look at some of those pics - did they just buy them off the Internet??
  10. Actually - I should have said that installing a patch over a modded game is a bad idea unless you know how to put parts in manually - which im guessing you probably havnt done. So best thing to do: 1. Reinstall game 2. Install latest Patch 3. Install that weps pack - which im hoping is up to date (Dec 2008)
  11. If you want to have dots then extract your HUDDATA.ini file and put it into the "flight" folder From what i remember decrease the following values - just experiment basically - you will need to do it for the radar target too and anything else [Display001] DisplayType=DIRECTOR ObjectType=TARGET_ENEMY ConeSize=25 <--------------------- <----------- decrease this value to 1 BoxSize=10 <----------- decrease this value to 1 BoxType=SQUARE BoxColor=1.0,0.0,0.0,0.75 ConeModelName=redcone
  12. Soviet Warmachine

dig the rocket braking system on the parachutes!
  13. Thankfully the missile coding has been vastly improved in recent patches for all missiles - a few years back an AIM-9L would have hit regardless of what you did!
  14. 1991 - The Iraqi Air Force take to Operation Desert Storm in their new MiG-29As - license built by the Mirage Factory!
  15. The Liverpool FC nappy thread

All Liverpool supporters - its time to be SMUG and spread some of that smugness around the world - its been a long time coming but this week Tuesday against the mighty "Real Madrid" from Spain: Liverpool 4 - Real Madrid 0 Today against the supposed world club champions: Manchester United 1 - Liverpool 4 Let me be the first to say hahahahahaha
  16. The never ending trip

Sounds like such a hard life - ever thought of filling the tanker up with beer instead :)
  17. well - looking at the stock AIM-7E in the "weapons editor" for example Booster Effect Name = MissileFireEffect In flight effect name = MissileInFlightEffect Effect class name = MediumMissileEffects Maybe provide a link to the weapons pack you downloaded also?? - it may have put in some old out of date files that are screwing things up.
  18. Sounds like another program is running in the background and conflicting with it
  19. Thing is the pilots seem to blame rocket motor malfunctions and there was one that didnt proximity fuse after flying right past a MiG-25 - if the rocket motor fired it almost always got to the target - so the hit capability may be about right - but rocket motor malfunction chance is maybe 60% :)
  20. The Liverpool FC nappy thread

Scousers are from Liverpool mate Torres is truly an exceptional player - everyone want him - he ran rings round Man Us defence today!!
  21. The Liverpool FC nappy thread

hahey cheers Flogger - I think am happy for Liverpool to play anyone in Europe at the moment - and it should be an exceptional European cup final if we get to play Barcelona! Benitez is truly a tactical master in Europe - unfortunately he hasnt yet mastered the Premier League - but im sure he will do soon :)
