  1. And here we go...

lol - just found this - end of the world http://ru.youtube.com/watch?v=zJb5GeJamUo
  2. "Dear Leader" is dead?

Dunno where he is - but hes not at the parade! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/7605615.stm
  3. And here we go...

We just had the wettest Aug summer on record In deference to The Archbishop of Canterbury and The Royal Commission for Political Correctness, it was announced today that the local climate in the UK should no longer be referred to as 'English Weather.' * Rather than offend a sizeable portion of the population, it will now be referred to as 'Muslim Weather.' In other words ........ partly Sunni, but mostly Shi'ite.
  4. If I understand what you want to do - you need to Change it in the individual aircrafts data.ini eg [LeftOuterWingStation] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=1 StationGroupID=1 <------------------------------- StationType=EXTERNAL AttachmentPosition=-3.47,0.37,-1.18 AttachmentAngles=0.0,-2.0,0.0 LoadLimit=1400 AllowedWeaponClass=BOMB,LGB,ARM,GP,IFP,MER,RP AttachmentType=NATO,USN,UK ModelNodeName=wing_pylon_outer_left01 PylonMass=52.62 PylonDragArea=0.02 [LeftInnerWingStation] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=3 StationGroupID=3 <----------------------------- StationType=EXTERNAL AttachmentPosition=-2.05,2.74,-1.28 AttachmentAngles=0.0,0.0,0.0 LoadLimit=1400 AllowedWeaponClass=BOMB,LGB,EOGB,NUC,EOGR,CGR,ARM,EP,TER,TLR,RP AttachmentType=NATO,USN,UK ModelNodeName=AdapterLeft ;PylonMass= ;PylonDragArea= LaunchRailNodeName= MinExtentPosition= MaxExtentPosition= [RightInnerWingStation] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=4 StationGroupID=3 <---------------------------------------- StationType=EXTERNAL AttachmentPosition=2.05,2.74,-1.28 AttachmentAngles=0.0,0.0,0.0 LoadLimit=1400 AllowedWeaponClass=BOMB,LGB,EOGB,NUC,EOGR,CGR,ARM,EP,TER,TLR,RP AttachmentType=NATO,USN,UK ModelNodeName=AdapterRight ;PylonMass= ;PylonDragArea= LaunchRailNodeName= MinExtentPosition= MaxExtentPosition=
  5. Id rather have the many much needed improvements that came with WOI regardless tbh - if thats what it takes to get MiGs that actually put up a fight then so be it.
  6. What do you Drive?

Wonder if that thing is invisible to police speed radars?
  7. Happy Birthday Wpnssgt

    Have a great day! :drinks_drunk:
  8. The Wall

A campaign will crash on Esc if the strategic nodes are not done properly ive found - testing every single path probably isn't feasible - is that the stock campaign?
  9. If you have a lot of time on your hands to play them why not - cant really compare them though F4 is so different to wox
  10. Assume you mean SA-5 Gammon? Iranian F-4s with Sparrows had no luck intercepting Soviet MiG-25s either - the overflights had to be halted though when the F-14A /AIM-54A weapon system showed up and locked one up at about 65,000ft. If the MiG-31/25 had an equal system it could have made the difference.
  11. Good point - always used to play it like that - safest place to be in the default game - must be why i never noticed much of a FR drop. Can be a bit of a pain dropping iron at low level though - and head on low against the ZPUs etc can be suicide.
  12. Not sure if this was there pre patch but my flight in the previous 2 campaigns all had Neshers / Shahaks that can supercruise. I turn on my burner - and they stay in military power regardless - and keep up with me no problem! Beginning to think i need to reinstall tbh
  13. Maybe 9 miles out, nose up and launch - never had much luck close in with shrikes. expect a lot to miss - If the sam radar goes off its likely a miss too
  14. What do you Drive?

98 Ford Puma - Practical, cheap, handles great, and a good laugh round tiny UK roads My car modding days are well and truly over :)
  15. basically point at radar and shoot - see countless old threads on this
  16. Hadnt noticed tbh - will keep a look out The only weird thing ive seen is when viewing a ZPU gun by an airbase - move the camera around and the entire concrete section of the airbase slid away ( like someone pulling a table cloth off a table very quickly) - only seen it once so probably just a one off hopefully - so confident in that analysis i didnt even bother checking to see which airbase it was :)
  17. What - The Sun wrote an article claiming that a Sopwith Camel could intercept an SR-71 no probs - shirley thats true
  18. Its not only the amount of SAMs but the amount of sound calls you get to go with it - It can slow down in 1972 over Haiphong/Hanoi quite a lot . Either reduce the graphics settings or reduce the amount of SAM sites in the targets.ini (probably not a 5 min job) IMO
  19. Does this only happen with that 1 plane? If so I would think it was related to the plane itself other than the game. I havnt seen anything like that yet.
  20. Ed W. Freeman

He is portrayed in the film "We Were Soldiers" - believe the other Huey pilot (Snake) got a belated Medal Of Honour too True exhibition of bravery to keep supply lines to the LZ open and a true hero!
  21. My first trip to the UK....

Would recommend Duxford if you can - similar distance from London but north whereas Farnborough is Oxfordshire (north West of London) http://duxford.iwm.org.uk/
  22. Google Chrome

like that it gives most visted pages on start up and it has dynamic tabs and an "Incognito" function- it doesnt seem any faster than FF/IE on this PC. I notice that IE8 Beta is now available - dont think I will bother with that just yet - browsers coming out of my ears!
  23. In regards to handling abilities I can believe the MiG-25 was much better over 80k - The Iranian F-14s just used to lock an AIM-54 onto Iraqi/Soviet MiG-25s - they then used their high speed to run for it :)
  24. Theres an entire section in there on adding campaigns
  25. The Air Force goes too far...

"The Warthog joined the NAVY - they put a hook on the front - and they snagged it from below"
