    Left at AMARC till 1986 before a refurb to US Navy Standard apparently - thats a long time to leave it sitting there :( Amazing to think that the F-14A could have racked up 159 confirmed Air to Air kills with Iran - now thats a Turkey shoot!

    Now now be nice - There was plenty of Georgian Artillery and armour on the BBC rolling out of SO - and they only reported military targets being hit - apart from a stray bomb - but that happens in every air campaign tbh.

    Yes - it is actually designed for the Original Falcon 4 and works best over that.

  8. thought so - I know some of the later SA-2s used by the VPAF were HOJ - but the pods got round that by jamming the guidance commands so the things just crashed back to earth - not easy to model something so complicated really - just keep the HOJ box unticked
  9. Is that the stock WOE A-10A? thought it had a built in one - dont think ive ever had to add a designating pod to drop Paveways - though will need to check this later. As for the stock WOE AVQ-23 in the weps editor does it have its weapon type as Noise Jammer and not laser designator (or whatever)?

  11. Yeah im stuck with 1280x1024 for the mo so cant see too far either - the track IR4 thing is good for zooming in to see afar if you must
  12. Are you using the weps editor that came with the weapons pack? - or are you using the one that works with WOI - that you can get from here or 3rdWires site? - should be dated 2008

  14. Have any of the pods got towed Decoys? Do the SAMs home in regardless of the jamming type? - 'Deception' jamming shouldnt present a target to a HOJ missile apparently.

    SA-3s were there in late 1972 according to Istvan Toperczer apparently one of the few foreign nationals that has been allowed access to the VPAF war files - even supplies photos of them with Vietnamese dressed soldiers by them.
  16. Most LCD TFT screens normally have a 'native' resolution setting - basically their optimum setting - and if you set it to other resolutions its likely you will get a worse display from what ive seen
  17. whatever so do you get no symbols on the rwr or no sound??? Was the RWR okay before you put in the avionics mod? what game are you running this in? can you give us a link to the F-14 you are using?

  19. Its your PC thats the problem - or the state its currently in - would even recommend bumping up the RAM to at least 2GB if you havnt already

Using an F-4C.ini as an example: [AircraftData] AircraftFullName=F-4C Phantom II AircraftDataFile=F-4C_data.ini CockpitDataFile=F-4C_cockpit.ini HangarScreen=F-4C_hangar.bmp <------ check this is exactly the same file name as your hangar screen LoadoutImage=F-4C_loadout.bmp .......... If thats there and the file is in the F-14s folder then check if the bit depth is 24 bit - right click ->properties->summary->advanced button
  22. Do you remap the in game F8 and F9 keys - by default Track IR uses them - F8 does slow down the TIR considerably when pressed. Are you using a default profile - with TIR4 it worked out of the box for me - as responsive as any other game
  23. And if you cut and paste the altered files out to another location does the game work okay?

    Not that I know of - it should say with the readme that comes with the download The Falklands campaign is for SFP1 I believe
