went to windows 10 cannot get add on aircraft or terrain to show
MigBuster replied to woojay's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
I was getting at this...............when putting mods into the Mod folder do not put in old copies of options.ini and version.ini You can cut out the entire mod folder and paste it safe somewhere. than run the game again and it will create new mod folders and the 2 files I mentioned. Then put in your mods making sure not to write over the them. -

Was the game reinstalled? Did you put your old mods back with the old option.ini and version.ini files? - that often causes problems -
It looks like Moscow stepped up its military effort in Syria even before the intention to intensify the air strikes was announced by Putin on Nov. 17. As initially reported by Reuters, a US official has confirmed that Moscow has conducted a significant number of strikes in Syria using both sea-launched cruise missiles and long-range bombers. The Russian MoD said 25 long-range bombers took part in the raid 5 x Tu-160s, 6 x Tu-95MS and 14 x Tu-22M3. http://theaviationist.com/2015/11/17/russian-tu-22s-joined-the-syria-air-war/

Just noticed this...one of Rugby's former world stars RIP Jonah Lomu, considered one of New Zealand's finest rugby union players of all time, has died at the age of 40. According to the former team doctor of the All Blacks, John Mayhew, Lomu's death was unexpected. He played more than 60 matches for New Zealand before his career was ended by kidney disease. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/34853536

This morning I saw the current operations of the United States against Daesh referred to as “Desert Drizzle.” I nearly spit out my drink in amusement, because it’s absolutely the truth. In the twenty-four years since Operation Desert Storm, the decisive application of United States combat airpower has gone from the devastating force of a tidal wave down to that of a drippy faucet. We are a far, far cry from the absolutely dominating performance that has come to be expected of us in that arena. .............. Daesh isn’t stupid. They know how restrictive the ROE is, and they take full advantage of our inability to attack them by placing their critical functions, command and control nodes, and other high-value targets inside densely populated areas and beyond the reach of U.S. warplanes. Simply stated, the ROE does not allow for any civilian deaths whatsoever and any ordnance employed must be done so with the minimum amount of collateral damage possible. http://fightersweep.com/3328/what-happened-when-daesh-decided-to-poke-the-bear/

The Russian plane crash in Sinai, Egypt, was caused by a terrorist attack as traces of explosives have been found in the wreckage of the plane, Federal Security Service director Aleksandr Bortnikov told President Vladimir Putin “During the flight, a homemade device with the power of 1.5 kilograms of TNT was detonated. As a result, the plane fell apart in the air, which can be explained by the huge scattering of the fuselage parts of the plane,” he added. https://www.rt.com/news/322393-russian-plane-crash-terrorist-attack/ Russia's security chief says an act of terror brought down the Russian A321 airliner in Egypt last month, killing all 224 people on board. "Traces of foreign explosives" were found on debris from the Airbus plane, FSB chief Alexander Bortnikov told Russian President Vladimir Putin. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-34840943

Radar screen move
MigBuster replied to DeBlerts's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
I think you can but you need to extract HUDDATA.ini from the relevant cat file, edit with Notepad then put in your Flight mod folder. [Display004] DisplayType=RADAR PosX=0.0 PosY=0.0 Width=0.0 Height=0.0 Alpha=0.0 InitTime=0.0 Typically using the Jets in Pit radar is better if you can. -
mildly entertaining

To mark the centenary of the formation of RAF 17 Squadron a unique line up of aircraft was assembled at Edwards Air Force Base. Seen here are a Sopwith Camel (replica), Supermarine Spitfire XIV and Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning II, three of the types flown by the squadron during the past 100 years. http://www.strategypage.com/military_photos/2015021921475.aspx

A Dutch-led investigation into the loss of a Malaysian Airlines Boeing 777 has concluded that the airliner was shot down by a Russian-produced Buk surface-to-air missile system. ............................. The investigation has concluded that the weapon that shot down the airliner was a 9M38 or 9M38M1 missile, both of which are able to carry the 9N314M-model warhead—a 70-kg high-explosive fragmentation warhead with preformed bowtie and square-shaped fragments, which were found in the wreckage of the airliner. http://aviationweek.com/commercial-aviation/mh17-final-report-investigators-confirm-russian-made-buk-missile-shot-down-777
