  7. Su-15TM Flagon F for SF2 [Revamp]

To get the afterburners flame working: - install the Su-15 A version so your merged install can get a necessary Afterburner emitter file; - go to: C:\Users\your name\Saved Games\ThirdWire\your SF2 theater\Objects\Aircraft\Su-15 TM - open the file: Su-15TM_DATA - on both Engine1 and Engine2 change the following entry: - " AfterburnerEmitterName=SU15_AB ", to: " AfterburnerEmitterName=AfterburnerEmitter2 " - save and close the file Su-15TM_DATA. 9. Hello everyone, After formating my PC and installing the various SF2 titles, and choosing some high end graphic settings, I started to get various glitches and artifacts on the image (see images below): - odd shadows on the aircraft exterior; - buildings flashing were isn't supposed to; - terrain distortions, glitch stripes of light blue color, etc. SF2 ; SF2 V ; SF2 E ; SF2 I ; ExpPack 1 ; ExpPack 2 ; SF2 NA - version March 2012. - Installing SF2 Update July 2012 helped somewhat in getting rid of some artifacts; - What appears to be the main cause are the 2 options at graphic settings: Choosing "Terrain texture" and "Ground objetcs" to "unlimited". It happen's at every title. Can anyone confirm this, or I'm I doing something wrong this time? (already updated nvidia drivers) Thank you.
  10. I believe you're right, but can you for instance, get a MiG-21 without the serrated edges like the ones in the image ? If so, can you post a print screen ?
  11. So far I've only used NVidia Inspector to tweak with FSX (+ aerosoft F-14x)... So do you think it woul help considerably to tweak with "ansiotropic filtering" and "antialiasing" settings on NVidia Inspector to get rid of the serrated edges on the SF2 (image below) ?
  12. Glad to hear you managed to solve your graphics problem, I've read your other thread also. Yes, I didn't notice before that the one's really working for you were the 358.50 version. I also tried those in hope of getting rid of the several kinds of artifacts, however in my GTX 770 only the 353.62 are working flawless. By the way, what graphics card are you using with SF2 ?
  13. Hello. Why not use the excelent 353.62 version ? I've had problems with precisely both versions you mention - solved with the 353.62.
  14. Hello everyone, Blaze, indeed it fixed ! Driver 353.62 is the one. All SF2 titles running 5 stars now, with some "ultimate" graphic settings ! The lunch is on me when you visit Portugal one day Blaze! Thank you!
  15. I guess it's the same problem here, initially thought it was due ambitious graphic settings, but it seam's not. In my system, several SF2 titles, Windows 7 64bit, both driver versions (355.98 and 358.50) have artifacts and glitches. http://combatace.com/topic/87382-artifacts-and-glitches-related-with-options-graphics-settings/
  16. Hello again. Will try the drivers tomorow and leave feedback - first there's the drive cleaning; defrag; new merge install etc. About the games I'm playing the most part of the year (will see if they run ok on the old drivers): - FSX + F-14x (Aerosoft) + TacPack; - SF2 (mostly North Atlantic); - Falcon BMS.
  17. I've been searching in the forum, and just like you said : http://combatace.com/topic/87313-graphics-problem/ I will try the 353.62 version.
  18. Hello blaze95, Thank you. So, basically the last 2 driver versions are the source of the problem? The glitches / artifacts appeared with both nvidia driver version 355.98, and driver version 358.50. So, basically the last 2 driver versions are the source of the problem?
  19. Hello jaker83, I believe you will find the below link of help (look in the "Air to Ground" section) : http://www.simhq.com/articles-library/air-combat-corner-library.html Regards.
  20. Interesting fact about the Greek Bailout

Hello blaze, Here in Portugal, people aren't talking much about Italy... yet. Our midia has been manipulating the public opinion to only focus their attention on Greece. (As part of a plan to keep us the populace, believing the EU problem is not so big... so they try to keep us looking only to just 1 country - Greece, in order to minorize the issue.) However, far from knowing anything very concrete about Italy's economic / financial situation, I've been told an year ago by a neighbor, that Italy's situation is in fact a serious, (but kept discreet) concern in the EU economic council. That's all I know.
  21. Interesting fact about the Greek Bailout

This post pretty much says everything.
  22. Interesting fact about the Greek Bailout

Contracted debts should always be paid, I agree. The question is: Which social groups exactly, in Greece, should pay the biggest part of the debt ? Surely not the poor ones which are forced to pay taxes and never benefited from the EU monetary funds. Just my 2 cents.
  23. Interesting fact about the Greek Bailout

Hello, Those are the "little perks" of negotiations in today's magnificent Europe. To be honest about the Greek crisis (Portuguese; Irish and Spanish as well), I believe there are guilty on both sides of the barricade. First the "poor" country (my own one as well), which relies for TOO much time on European funds, and waste them on personal wealth of big corporations (banks, oil, transport, construction, comm's, etc.), instead of investing in developing the country economy. And in Portugal, our prime minister is winning all the prizes of miss. Merkel lap dog... at the expense of the honest tax-payers (not his fellow corrupt businessman). Second, the rich creditor countries, know long ago, that the poor ones will NEVER be able to pay the obscene amounts of money, (and interests) lend to them - it's plain unrealistic to everyone who looks at a country GDP and his external debt. Everyone knows that keeping a poor country eternally in debt is the best way to the creditors start taking all of its neighbors country best economical assets and wealth. So Germany as all the dishonest interest in keep lending money to the poor ones - forever and with high interest, and in that way keeping them poor.
  24. Hello saisran, Nice report - putting the F-14 (probably my favourite), against MiG-29's and Su-27', seams interesting and rewarding. Could you tell me, how did you modify stock europe campaign set to modern times with the above mentioned jets? edit: Do you have add-on campaigns installed, or are the expansion packs sufice? Thank you.
  25. It isn't available yet, this kind of developments always takes time. But I'm also waiting for this outstanding campaign ! All the fame and cult around the word: TOPGUN, sure raises everyone's interest.
