  1. I have added F-86L of the Royal Thai Air Force. It is a separate download file. So, there is no need to download the whole pack once again. Live long and prosper.

New model of F-86D as used by far East Asian countries. The set includes the Republic of China Air Force, South Korea Air Force, and the Philippine Air Force. In the game, you will find it under the prefix * F-86D Sabre Dog I fixed data files a little - collision points and hitboxes..as the previous ones were quite weird. However, I believe that the flight model could be improved for this aircraft. But this is not my cup of tea or coffee. All skins are in 4096x4096 format. You can easily resize as needed. 3. as a side note, the number of decals per mesh decreases by one if you have assigned specular maps in the 3d model and another one for bumps.
  4. yup..and AI can usually land this birds. One thing though, Yes all those special ultra uber jayhawk, pavehawks, blisters and whistlers are cool. In fact any CSAR ( I mean saving lives not taking them) is way much cooler than any fighter jet. But for sure some old farts here would appreciate clean and slick UH-60A placed somewhere in 80s. edit: Ok now I can see L.... well this one is clean but A. is classic
  5. and those missiles on the turret...yeah it will be madness believe me.. And there is no way to work it properly. You can make some walkarounds....check BMP-1P or BMP-2....This is the point where I gave up...anyway, the moment I fly I stick to the cockpit view. But yes when testing and just watching battleground...small things are annoying.
  6. ALl those yaw, pitch movements are related to the model (the easy part) as you have to set all axes correctly in 3d program, and to data ini. (pain in the a*s part) as sometimes you have to make "fake" components in data to have multiple turrets, independent movements, etc. Somehow it is hard for me to explain how you should exactly proceed. I have learned everything based on trial and error path. Not like I do not want to share my knowledge, just that there are many things you have to pay attention to, needless to say I would know where to start explaining. I still struggle when making some ground object mods - that is why I always refer to older working mods or simply to mods of others and then modify and test...You would not believe how many things guuruu improved just by - "let's check what this will do" If you check my BMPs from my Bonanza pack you will have a quite good idea of how things work. as for the rockets, missile launchers always have to face "front" of the vehicle (even if it is wrong for a model it does not matter - the game will fix everything - data ni (yaw/pitch angle rate, default angles, yaw/pitch limits etc)
  7. Although I am not entirely at liberty to release this...as it is based on a joint venture project also, I would prefer first, to finish the cockpit for it (and other zippers)... and some mingling with TMF... the new cockpit would be a challenge - and I have already a lot of challenges at the moment...so this is a very slow-cook project. and my very old project...somewhere I mentioned that I work on something with a name containing F and 8...(not F-8) Stary made a cockpit so in that matter it is "easy peasy" I also started Drakken a long time ago...but other more interesting projects came by then. Although I get past the wing section already.. But those are not 2-week projects. So if someone is in a hurry for a new model... I do not know how others work, but for me, every model is becoming very personal, I really need to read whatever books are available on aircraft ( which means sometimes I need to ask a lot of favors from family and friends to go "dig in old books" purchase and ship it to my place. Not to mention getting manuals and reading them back-to-back to understand how it all works when building a cockpit model. Then It is a pure pleasure to work on a model. Yes, you can buy a ready model (or download it free) and bing-bong-ta-da-dum export it for game standards. But this is not the same. And I always hope that the end user (player) will see the difference. live long and prosper.
  8. Cool looking What If Canberra.

That reminded me of my commitment to finish Trent Meteor...
  9. Cool looking What If Canberra.

    Lancaberra or Canbester.
  10. Beriev Be-6

Is that a Cadnav free model?
  11. Oh, man. I love that one. I am not going to say no. This is a lovely helicopter, and I am definitely going to make one. One day. I belive It is I prefer to pick my projects according to my whims...If I run into some obstacle or bored with something I move to another (often older projects). Recently I have been in an early jet era...so something with F and 8 in name might pop up one day. As for helos, I am sitting in short-bodied hueys now. And still doing some Intruder stuff. But as always it is all about that artificial construct called time.

Basic modding skills are required to run this mod. (copy/paste, mod folder structure, etc.) Install: Copy and paste specific folders into the correct destination. A fake pilot is required to run this mod. New model of F-86D and L as used by USAF. Set includes 3 variants which in the game you will find under the prefix *USAF. F-86D-25 Sabre Dog -early variant without assisting drag chute (Block 10-40). most of them were later upgraded to D-45 standard - (block D-16-46) It is named here D-25- - despite differences in block builds 25 was the first to introduce external fuel tanks and was a baseline for further blocks. F-86D-45 Sabre Dog -drag chute equipped variant - (Block 45-60) Named D-45 as it was the first of the line with drag chute housing and some other minor modifications. F-86L-61 Lima Dog - L model - upgraded airframes with data link SAGE system (not in-game) and 6-3 wings. All are rebuilds of D models - (Block 11-60) All skins are in 3072x3072 format. Skins represent all squadrons (71) but three*, USAF Interceptor squadrons that ever used F-86D/L All squadrons have set skins to StartDefaultDate= into a period that particular model/paint scheme was used. * I did not include 3 squadrons as I was not able to find any single reference photo (probably no special markings were used as those squadrons lived for only a few months, but still reference would matter to me) Because this mod was evolving through time, I was not entirely sure how I was going to proceed. So some squadrons have correct serial numbers for a particular year, Others use decals from three decal folders representing airframes build- blk45-50, blk 55-60 and L blk11-61. Some aircraft have some special markings (C.O. stripes etc.) and some have nosearts. Since the serial numbers list is always around 600 airframes it will appear on proper aircraft, You just have to find them in game. I believe that the flight model could be improved for this aircraft. But this is not my cup of tea. There is a small ini change in the cockpit and avionics ini. I changed a little angle of the radar scope. It uses only the Mk4 Mighty Mouse rocket as a weapon. And yes it is possible to fight enemy bombers. Additionally, I added a special "weapon" for D-45 - that will be loaded automatically after 1956 - 'F-86D_sugarscoops' the same as on the L model introduced to remaining D airframes. This is just a visual upgrade, not really a weapon. Credits: The model is new but some parts are based on Zur's F-86H which I was able to work on previously with Wrench. Yours truly - model, skins, decals, research... Weapons: Mk4 Mighty Mouse by Ravenclaw. Have fun. Report bugs. * Expect the unexpected. Live long and prosper. 16. only sam_radars works properly with sam_launcher (given the proper NetworkType). But EWR is random madness.
  17. about those Patriot operators...Does it matter in the game after all? I thought the game was only recognizing Red or Blue, friendly or enemy.

  19. yes, it is happening to me sometime, but not in all mods.I have one screenshot folder - where all mods are pooping screenshots, It hapend sometimes but mostly from ODS30AE are "damaged", never in my Vietnam mod neither European theater mod, Number of screenshots has nothing to do (in my opinion) as I often clear that folder and I suffer that issue with empty folder too. It might be something with general memory but (ODS30AE in my version is quite huge and heavy) but I fail to see why memory would be an issue.. I thought it was happening only to me and my overloaded mods, As I can not help you, one things cheers me up - I am not alone.
  20. Oi! One screenshot rule still applies! Only Ravenclaw and Sundowner can bend the rules. They are known as Phantoms.
