  2. Indeed It is needed. Thanks. I will pm you later about my visions. As for the weapons. AS.11 could be great but also new HOT-1,2,3 is needed. When Armee de Terre started to use 3color camouflage on Gaz ? In Iraq 1991 it was stil green scheme (or overpainted green)
  3. Isn't AS.12 longer about 66 cm ? And genaraly bigger. In fact it's an old model i found on pc. I think it was mad long time ago for huey Maxwell kit , but never used.

  5. Upgraded skins. With few old pieces of old skins, mostly everything is new. uvmaping changed only in few parts. For now only 3 countries, Middle East users of high-skid, dust friendly Gaz. Ive made templates in gimp, so its possible to made more skins. Only if someone will. Do we have some nice HOT -1 and AS.11/AS.12 misiles somewhere to download. "Evil" Gazelles.
  6. Later models maybe later. But no promises. It's all about time. But still MH-6H and AH-6G should be first in line. As for bigger birds. Not now, not soon.
  7. Gazelle model is quite good. Not much to fix there. Just added some bits here and there. And new pylons for HOT and RPs.
  8. So far small update. As for Syrian gazelle I found few numbers. Didn't check others yet. I've added few slow/fast rotors, checking which one looks good (those on screens - not much) Added pylons for HOT. And diferent for rocket pods. But looks like Matra pods are little too big for it ? Also new HOT missiles and tube launchers. So caps are removed after launch. Some few changes into old model to keep mapping. Hot sight added and alive.

    Hughes AH-6F and MH-6E Ver 1.0 for SF2 This is a third party add on of the first LittleBird AH-6C using models and cockpits created by me. The original flight model is standard as on many free to download helicopters. I have just modified it a bit. It is designed for and works only in SF2 series. ANIMATION 1 - 'NVG' You can realy fly low and slow. I am sugesting to fly low on 40-50% of throttle. around 45degree vector control, use pulse rudder to control left right, it is realy easy. With little practice you can even hoover. Without fake flaps and airbrakes. Important here to control is using rudder and vector thrust control. Fun is skiding between buildings in cities. Fuel. Remeber it is small chopper. And it can carry only around 54 US Gals of fuel. I belive it is enough for around 2 hours of flight here maybe little more. Cockpits. Since photos of interior of this two early 160th SOAR birds are extremly rare and usualy low quality for now cockpits are just "guess" cockpits. Based on these low quality photos, some MD500D, Hughes 369D manuals, guessing. AH-6F. Based on MD500D series. 9 airframes aquired by 160thSOAR probably in 1984 since all airframes are build in 84. AH-6F still used old M27 subsytem with M134 minigun. And same mount as earlier AH-6C for 7 tube launcher. Skins. All serial numbers as far as I know are based on photos and US Army docs and are historicaly correct. Weapons. XM27 – M134 Minigun M260 7 tube rocket launcher. First years of operation with mk40 rockets and later Mk66 rockets. There is no gunsight for this helo. Acording to one of the pilots they were using "grease pencil mark on the windscreen, . And practicing shooting this way ". So here it is embeded to windshield. During night with 'nvg' it will glow a little. MH-6E. Special Forces insertion/extraction variant of MD369MD. Introduced in 1981. No weapons. Skins. All serial numbers as far as I know are based on photos and US Army docs and are historicaly correct. Weapons: Here you can load experimental beta version of specops. Operator with M4 or M4/M203. You have to land select "weapon" and deploy them on the ground and get away. Remember this is beta. Lod model is "ehmm" and animations is just for try. I did not even finish skin. So do not expect fireworks. There is also two weaponstations to carry M27 subsystem and M260 launcher. It is not to be used on MH-6E !!! I added it here so player can pick AH-6C/F as wingman and have cover by wingman. Just fun in single mission. MH-6E participated in Urgent Fury with AH-6C. It was not used in inital attack but used later for extraction wounded 82nd Airborne members to USS Guam. Pilot by OldDiego poorly repainted by me. Have fun. Edit and report bugs. Jarek Hereda.
  10. Ive made "bombs" (no special effect) - actualy you can unload them on the ground, and "bombs" will stay somewhere around ground level like for 30 40 seconds sometimes longer. But here is on helo using skids, so no landing gear and yo can release "load" after landing. "bomb" is sitting and animated into stand up and move a little aside from MH. This is very beta version.

  15. Before copying your own mod folders, run evry fresh and virgin single game (5 merged instal - every single one). I was reinstaling system 2 weeks ago - I forgot and game overwrote some files from moded stock aircrafts,
  16. These launchers are not the same.
  17. LAU-131/130 (same as Army M260/261 LWL) is current USAF launcher so it should go with Mk66. LAU- model version A/A B/A C/A can be used only with older motors Mk40. As for LAU-3D/A hard to say. should be able to launch both. Also it was issued already when Mk40 was at the end of production. MK66 enter lines depends on MOD vers. on 1981MOD1 and 1985 MOD 2. Also launchers ver. D/A is around this years. Not sure but full contract was on 1985 for D/A. As for M229 thing, its no longer in use, And i think US Army was not using much m229 on mk66 motor.
  18. I think C and D ver are capable of firing Mk66 motors and Mk40. Diferences in intervalometer and starters. Also i walk through my pics and looks like USAF did not use M229 on fast movers. Also never saw M257 and 259. Looks like those long sticks are for rotary wing only US Army adn Marines for sure. Other thing is that due weight limits Cobra in fact couldn't carry 17 M229. Limit was 12 rockets if I remember corectly on outboard pylons in Hog -4x M200/159 launchers.
  19. army model M261 - 168.15 cm lenght, diameter- 40.32 cm LAU-61 - (dpends on model) G/A - 194,4cm lenght, some are 167.94 cm I think C/A model and D/A. diameter 41,32cm. l thermocoated models are larger in diameter by around 1cm. As for 7 tube rocket launcher , M260 - 168.15cm same as 19 shooter, while LAU-68 some are same as 61 but there you can find extended version like F/A - 180.6cm. LAU-131/A - 152cm. That photo above with A-1, are we 100% sure this is LAU-3 ?
  20. Lau launchers are in few "sizes" . I think it also depends on manufacturer. I wil try to find something in my "library" New Lau are capable of firing Mk40 and mk66 motors and are sligltly longer than old ones. but also there are few sizes (but some sources says that ther is only one size) I think i never seen army launchers with covers. Navy launchers have larger radius. Problem wirh sources about rockets is that you are not sure which fuse was measured. So need to measure fuse-warhead-motor. By the way nice job with those rockets.

  22. in ship data.ini file change - CatapultID=1. There wil be few cat entrys, like cat1, cat2, cat3. Chose one you want to use and set ID to 1. Player is always launched from ID=1.
