  4. 3D clouds can be added right now to pre-NA terrains as "ground" objects I think, I can't imagine targetizing the map with them though
  5. Tried 24 kilometers... ONE time TK really should let us use fading trees but with user-defined fade distance
  6. TGA has nothing to in-game performance, it's the emitters spawn ratio that has FPS hits on most occasions. TGAs as used by terrain textures has only video memory impact just for clarification
  7. Kevin I never liked my european tiles to be honest, so I gave it a shot by a\simply adding dirt image ontop, suprisingly works BTW the cookoo I am I use detailmeshsize set at 12 or 10, I'm one of those who prefer nicer looks over smoother flying... clearly I must switch into flying FSX

For those interested, I'm reworking my 2009 HR tileset for usage in the Scandinavian Front Sweden map it's similar to included tileset, but with some overlay satellite-based maps added to make it less artificial and less "nice" in appeal. Also the mod-included TODs and graphics are total mess, being collection from my various european version released through past years, so I fixed that too, with the necessary Sweden_data.ini tile and TOD texture references which were way offto me, modified, more fitting trees graphics etc still WIP of course, the tiles are 1024x1204...

    This tiny mod is my modification of stock post-June11 environmentsystem.ini, that I created in spare time for own enjoyment. Incorporated are several tweaks and graphics files I created to slightly change the looks and feel of the SF2 series environment. New, light blue sky colour for midday New, more purple, cinematic sky colours for sunrise/sunset Slightly modified fog colours Reduced sky glow for sunrise/sunset New, slighly bigger sun with new sun graphics New sun flare New clouds sizes and graphics for all weather types Now clear weather has some small fluffy clouds too New, bigger lens flares with new graphics Slightly bigger Moon New stars graphics New, stronger base winds and gusts for more dramatic smoke columns etc. Other tiny changes
  10. Don, you compare payware to payware, not throw in freeware, clearly to put the reviewed product in negative light for the review. That review was biased from start, hence was a bad review. Ebert he's not
  11. As much as I adore MF work and consider Tomcat one of maybe 10 best user-made aircraft available (RIP Oli!) I don't think making such comparision in a review was a err... professional thing. Period. I'm done with that review thing.

All TK needed is such negative Pfunk's review... and yes I think it's negatively approached and written from start

  18. campaign or single missions? Because in both my F-14 and A-7 campaigns I came to the point where my task force is mixed with Soviets and there's no chance for me to launch from carrier, I'm shot down right after take off
