It's a known issue when using the HM files, sometimes the engine doesn't calculate the heighmaps properly sometimes it does -

IIRC my Israel and Taiwan repaints have them too so one would need to adjust data, especialy for israel the heightmaps were created to exactly match the displaced tile textures for mountain areas edit: Wrench's right (...again...) it must be meters as everything TW from fake ECM diameters to eee... heightmap displacement -

Volker, moving it too much creates visible ring over water so it's worth experimenting with, the value is in feet or meters but I'm not sure -

happens when certain tiles use tile-specific heightmap files (eg. Desert1_HM.bmp) to create additional height detail, fix is simple: in your terrain's _data.ini: [HeightOffset] LowDetailMesh=-100 WaterMesh=0.8 experiment with this negative value, it moves the far terrain BELOW the closer one, thus visually eliminating the gap -

oh, I just found another one -familiar with the Conflict series? Conflict:Vietnam, but I don't much like it (I like the Conflict series as whole, Global Operations was the best, Denied Ops lost it but was fun shooter)

I was thinking about it Julhelm, that would do, with the Stoners and all MOH:Pacific sucked for me, except for the Tarawa beachhead missions, World at War had much better level design IMO

oh, Hidden and Dangerous 2 -style ops in Nam setting, tasty would be (remember those bloody H&D2 jungle missions?) Crysis engine would do, also Chrome engine (4?) renders nice jungles as seen in Ghost Warrior oh, nostalgia struck me: Platoon on C-64, those tunnel levels... anyone played Tunnel Rats (the one based on F**k y** Uwe Boll's Tunnel Rats movie)? Also there's Shellshock continuation, but I think it's more of zombies or deadly virus infestation kind of FPS
