  1. yesss, another one "small yet much needed" feature finally here
  2. I had the similar issues when SF2:I came out -my solution were to upgrade Direct X and graphics card drivers -I'll ask again, are you sure your are up to date? Have you tried low detail options (which disables most of the shaders IIRC) to check how it goes?
  3. FC, already testing -it does work, in 1024x768, ALT-TABing disables mouse in W7 (but it does work when you switch back to sim), also some keyboard input problems that I noticed, maybe related to me having two keyboards plugged. Digging it, so far good for an old "classic era" title -ran over guy (catapult crew? Yellow outfit, don't remember the colour codes from C-64 Tomcat game LOL) on my first takeoff trial, ended in ocean without one engine... nice detail edit: manual says it was plane director
  4. Skyraider proven itself once again Frankly, I'm suprised the pilot 1)decided to bail out and 2) sustained no mayor injures at such low altitude.
  5. what Dave said I do like Fliming Cliffs 2, will buy A-10C later this year but sometimes it's just an hour or so of flying time in the evening -then SF2 gives me more
  6. IL2 Cliffs of Dover status ?

    envious are you?
  7. IL2 Cliffs of Dover status ?

true true... maybe they (Gaijin) don't think new single-player oriented title would sell enough so they switched to MMO type one? Maybe they consider that WOP is to "arcadish" to sell for both lite and hardcore crowd, which would be wrong assumption as I find WOP very realistic sim (or as I prefer to call all simulations: game), all the stupid time missions aside
  8. IL2 Cliffs of Dover status ?

Wings of Planes Warhawks Over Pacific Warbirds Of Pleasure World of Pilots -this one could do actually War Of Planes
  9. I really consider actually buying one of those hi-poly Bf-109e raw models from turbosquid or similar places for SF2 usage... must be something wrong with me
  10. MaGaRCaN, this series isn't LOMAC/DCS and never intended to be edit: removed DP I missed something? not that it wouldn't be natural heading given the step back into early 50s with Exp1 and Exp2. I DO hope it'll be based off new(er) Tomcat engine
  11. Never get into the boat

    RIP @JM: different (un)safety standards
  12. so you're going to wait a loong time, unless you are refering to next DCS projects (which would be some years too)
  13. :yikes:you do backup those from time to time, right?
  14. anything by Crusader, given the engine limitations
  15. update your graphic card drivers that should help. Is the sky (environmentsystem) modded or stock?
  16. Doonut, extract the files from the archive and copy or move Objects folder to your SF2 install (or mods) folder, ie: drive letter:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\ThirdWire\YOUR SF2 INSTALL FOLDER\
  17. File Name: GPU-5/A Pave Claw 30mm gatling gun pod File Submitter: Stary File Submitted: 09 July 2011 File Category: SF2 Series Add On Weapons Credits: The Wrench: A-16, idea, Pave Claw schematics, general data, testing and opinions TK, Thirdwire -stock SF2:I F-16A Netz used as base for A-16 by Wrench Combat Ace -greatest site for flightsims enthusiasts and artists This is GPU-5/A gunpod for use with Wrench's excellent A-16 ground attack aircraft. Includes two variants, GPU-5/A painted green to match Wrench's Euro scheme, and GPU-5/A (GRAY) in gray colour. As a bonus includes my "personal" slightly tweaked 30mm GAU-13/A Cannon -tweaks include: less accurate, effects aliased to 30mm type of effects (was 23mm) and with different tracer image. Click here to download this file
  18. looks oddly fitting.. for a split second I thought it's real photo and did WTF?
  19. Small error -IF you'd like to try the slightly modified GAU-13/A data, the tracer_gau13.tga goes to Objects folder, not the main root folder
  20. Kevin, without your support this wouldn't be possible -thank you!
  21. more of a design decision than a problem, really. I think TK could change this in a weekend if he would like to. Best would be to have both current and more realistic approach, switchable via options
