Dave, you have a sharp eye, that's for sure! I wonder how many of you know that such story was actually possible in one old flightsim... who knows which one? (hint: wrapper.dll) -
Strike Fighters 2 Europe
Stary replied to Gr.Viper's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Roger on that, but not after colliding with ie. shattered wing or fin, not to mention the lack of damager from near plane explosion -the close missile detonations cause damage, exploding plane (gunkill) not. Anyway i have no such experience. Small issues aside, great job TW! -

After several fierce dogfights I can only complain about lack of debris collision feature -flew few time through fireballs full of detached flaming parts left by MIGs without effects. maybe in a next release? -

I'm fine with it, but maybe an option to turn it off (restrict movement to the HUD borders) would be nice? -

off to put some cash on paypal -
Very sad. Chances seem lost. I told my father yesterday the strangest thing would be no physical evidences of crash. But it happens sometimes I think. what altitude were they flying? I guess they could have time for a distress signal.

The nicest looking airplane ever
Stary replied to Rambler 1-1's topic in Military and General Aviation
I put Skyhawks on the list, didn't I? The F-series are indeed beautiful clean airframes, but late G and K models (erla haube) have that killer look -

Many beauties there are: Skyhawks, Skyraiders, Viggens, but the only one is Bf-109K in weathered skin -
IT'S BACKUP YOUR STUFF DAY!
Stary posted a topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
As the title says -it's time to burn few DVDs or copy to external drive. It may save you! I had WDC HDD crash two days ago, lost 350+ GB of data, including over 60 gigabytes of various Thirdwire installs, ranging from First Eagles Exp1 to Nato Fighters 4. Lucky me, as I'm doing backups frequently, most of my mods and downloads are safe. But making new installs and restoring everything to previous state will take some time. -

I need one Yuri! Badly -
I remember how enjoying was it when I discovered Sandbaggers' EAW pages back in 2002, with all the mods... sweet times; at that time I had yearly break from studies and EAW was the only sim that ran on my prehistoric system. (I even made my skin for Bf-109G6 but never uploaded it anywhere )
-
Running for two weeks or so now. Works ok, my only two Thirdwire installs now are FE and SF2Vietnam, no issues with them. New interface takes a while for a XP fan to learn, but it's functional. other sims I checked so far and works w/o problems are CFS3 ETO, IL2 1946, SH4. Max9 indeed works ok. All in RC1 32bit

Take your time Jan (The Honza from Sandbagger EAW ?!), I'm very interested in this mod. Good, I can read Czech a little

Noticed this few days ago -but it's a feature since WOI, then added to other titles I think.
