  1. File Name: Grumman F7F Tigercat cockpits pack File Submitter: Stary File Submitted: 05 August 2015 File Category: Prop Cockpits GRUMMAN F7F-1 and F7F-3N "Tigercat" cockpits pack For Strike Fighters 2, preferably all-merged and up to date by Stary and KJakker, version 1.1 March and August 2015 Update 1.1: -fixes for engine gauges supplied by KJakker, thank you -removal of temporary mesh helpers in 3N variant What's this: This is pack of two dedicated and quite accurate cockpits for the Grumman Tigercat twin engine heavy fighter/point strike fighter aircraft; F7F-1 and F7F-3(N) radar equipped variants respectively. Best for late WW2, 1946 and specifically Korea installs. Made for and tested with Geo's excellent Tigercat. Please read the readme for more informations about known bugs and other balooney. Seriously read it. Click here to download this file
  2. interesting but I doubt as the model reads specified type of graphics file (say, BMP) are you sure it doesn't simply read the BMP if you keep them in the cockpit folder that is..? Or you removed the bitmaps and the sim still reads from jpeg? That's interesting to say the least
  3. updated to version 1.1 with cockpits ini fixes by KJakker, TY
  4. Grumman F7F Tigercat cockpits pack

updated to version 1.1 with cockpits ini fixes by KJakker, TY
  5. that I do understand but one can easily tweak or tune down high res/high def mods (resize textures, fiddle with ini files, remove some TODs etc)
  6. Everytime someone posts screens with the utter piece of shlt the old beta Korea tileset was, Stary murders a kitten. Think of the kittens. And use proper repaint dammit: http://combatace.com/files/file/13450-taiwan-and-korea-tilesets-v2/ http://combatace.com/files/file/13452-taiwan-and-korea-tilesets-v2-quick-fix/
  7. Nice Iskander indeed Suicidal. As for Gina, yeah I avoid finishing it's cockpit for Carlo like a rotten egg of mine that said I stay with my favourite frame of late 1940s/early 1950s, so decided it's time to finally finish this bugger I started in ...January 2012 at my current modding pace "two weeks"
  8. Have neat fixes from KJakker, will test them and incorporate into updated version later toady
  9. then as above post from SimHQ by Julhelm (Evil Flower in there) says -wait for PC release
  10. Grumman F7F Tigercat cockpits pack

must be the damage effects on canopy
  11. Grumman F7F Tigercat cockpits pack

yeah the bugs aren't that big in fact, makes the cockpits fully enjoyable in SF2 so I decided as I have shown up here after a while, it's time to release :)
  12. Ironclads 2

it this from the guys behing ridiculously overpriced pieces like Jutland and Distant Guns? lost track but I remember old Ironclads
  13. Combat Air Patrol 2

yeah seen this a while ago, looks very interesting for me (because it's not DCS lol) though given the Kickstarter numbers I can't say it's going to happen I myself can't donate kickstarter projects due to being in a shitville bank
  14. Congratulations Jules! regarding PC via SimHq: "We are actually planning a PC port of the title. It'd likely be the same game with some nicer shaders to take advantage of the PC hardware. We'll post more news about this later this fall."
  15. Wittmann at Villers Bocage

it's still great panzer sim, but not bare -mods really add to it
  16. Comrad you have fixed that by chance? Looks like something is missing but in my case it's all working?
  17. @ Capun & DAT

    edit: ok not going there
  18. Nah I understood Do335 but I am sorry for vanishing from CA into thin air after the MiG-23 cockpits release in May, been a busy time for us AF works on medium-level phone just fine too, in my case it's Samsung Galaxy S3 and I have no issues, same on Galaxy Tab 3.0 8" edition and those are by no means high level devices now
  19. I am still around doh! The Tigercat ones will be ready whn ready Wilches, I am busy with other stuff now the fact that cockpit looks almost complete on screen from modder doesn't show some utterly annoying bugs the cockpit might have, simple as that as for F-84 pits, yeah Brain32 has them, so do I but I can't say who has working version as I have only the max files and textures I think edit; for clarification: Flakiten did the cockpits for Il2 histomod and Brain32 improved G I think plus made them SF2 compatible
  20. That said I am sure you are aware Nils is here in the community hidden behind one "J" nick too?
  21. ummm yeah that would be me and yes sorry for avoiding CA like it's some plague these days, I know how utterly addictive the modding can be for me, so given my current workload and projects I don't have time for SF2. Patience guys and yes, Atlantic Fleet is fabulous strategy/sim hope you don't mind the above plug PCs obsolete? No way!
