    If you like Third Wire stuff, go on with WOE. If you're looking something more complex, I'd prefer old Falcon 4 as Silverbolt mentioned.
  3. I'll balance it to reasonable high -somewhat below cloud level. 11 thousand feet smoke is nice to watch for few times, then it starts to annoy me. And Saganuay82, youre right, the flames in 11 angels version are waay to high at the moment. Update will include a bit different plane fire/smoke. I'm also reworking medium bomb effect as the 2.0 version ain't the best.

  5. One question JSF relating to Harrier's HUD -I've got no leading gunsight for Aden in AA mode... Clean separate install, SFGold. It's not big problem, using boresight but dunno if it's ok? Not an avionics historician.
  6. Yes, it's a download and go mod. JSF -thanks for making Parani fighters flyable. First time I have no problems making MIG-25 flyable:-)
  7. Silverbolt, both new fires (fuel and oil tanks) have the same burnout time. EDIT: Burnout time is over three times than in default ones Yes, I'd like to have knowledge to do an atmosphere growing black smoke columns:-) Maybe in next release. Edit No2: Saganuay82, Silverbolt, and anyone that thinks the oil fire doesn't go high enought: Here is an example of burning oil tanks with columns of black smoke reaching 11.000 feet above ground (screenshot taken in JSF_Aggie's Harrier Campaign 2.0 -if you don't already have it, go on and download it, cause it's amazing piece of work) BUT the down side is rather big frame drop at the moment (having a lower-end sys here). AND bare in mind, the way effects are scripted, it's also used by some other structures as a "destroyed" effect... Having an empty aircraft shelter giving such fire would be quite disturbing to younger viewers ... Yes, it can be changed to other one, but requires one to change some entries in every and any terrain ini...
  8. It's definitely better than Tainted Cigar... or different. Very demanding -Harrier strikes with limited payload forces accurate bombs placement, a lot of enemy MIGs, low level manouvering. The downside is that on lower-end system it loads quite long and details must be lowered. But down low a lot of action goes aswell. And the SAM sites with maintenance roads are just beautiful
  9. Returning to the Wings Over Israel wish list... My 50 cents: 1.Ejection animation -there are opinion they are not important. My bet is -they are important. Hitting enemy plane and seeing pilot ejecting gives you stronger taste of victory. But I would be against the possibility to shoot the chute (like in IL2). 2.As for terrains -I can live with them, but higher res and more tile variety would be nice after 6 years of development. And the ability to define and place true (with collisions box and structural properties) 3D object in the .tod file in TE 3. Callsign listing. No more dropping s**t hearing "SAM launch", shout by a guy 100 miles ahead 4.And finally, thing I simply want! above all -the ability to target not mission related buildings/structures, not only AAA/vehicles -and to give the "Attack my target" order not only to my wingman but whole flight (and whole formation bombing runs).

  13. Saganuay82 -yes, the smoke is kinda dark orange, but thats the particle color fading/transparency problem. It could be darker/gray, but then the fire glare would be shorter. I thought it looks nice at low light level such way. I will continue to experiment with this. As of burning oil smoke -you did put the particlesystem.ini included to your Flight folder? Anyway I hope it will be higher and black in update

This mini-pack uses some graphics from my guns_fx, which were in turn based on some .tga files created by Deuces. In this mini-pack you will find some reworked original effects. Since i've switched from close range WW2 and Korea dogfighting to more modern medium range missile engagements (WoE rules!) i started working on some enhancements to stock effects. This is not a complete effect pack (Deuces is best at that), rather an addition. Reworked effects include: Aircraft explosions -with new big hot fireballs and lots of burning parts thrown randomly into air, now ground crashes look more realistic Aircraft fuel fire -new longer fire trail than in original, fueltanks blow, random bursts of fuel Small/medium/large missile air explosions -different from original, now with more intense fireballs, smoke clouds, sparks Small/medium/large bomb effects (beta) -differ by size and look, i'm not fully satisfied with those, but I decided to throw them in.   17. Tazkiller, surely I could do such repaint. Sorry for not replying earlier, but I've been out for quite a long time... Real Life... So can't say exact time when.
  18. The hurricane was a static ground object placed inside (at the same coordinates as) static hangar just for base-life immersion purpose. WoE is my favourite installment due to familiar surroundings. And have some pretty planes (Hunter), plus excellent free NATO Fighters addon.
  19. Just got news that two planes from polish "Żelazny" acrobatic group collided in air during Radom Airshow 2007, Poland. The pilots didn't make it. Hopefully no one on ground was harmed in the accident.
  20. I'm no way film geek these days, but I do appreciate "Lost", and went crazy about the "Slusho/Cloverfield" thing... I know there's nothing like massive carpet bombing Raptors or intercepting B-2's* but I'm getting a bit hot and yes, I catched the viral add. *Showing B-2 in dogfight is just like ...don't telling the viewers the god damn movie name!!! -I mean ridiculous and Hollywood style...
