  1. nice! don't forget the collision boxes! just read previous comments Monty -yeah IF I find the old city tod master files I'll gladly get rid of skyscrapers -BUT it'd be better to mix the germanyce tiles with the ones I did for Sweden terrain as these have nicer cities layout with no skyscrappers and in general more plausible layout
  2. Jean, can you evaluate? SAS'46 guys did some Gmax->Il2 converter, right? Given the price of Max the Gmax or dunno that bloody Blender converter could bring more modellers to the series again I think..?
  3. I'm affraid you can't -3ds plugins are very version specific and Max doesn't have legacy plugins support, so older plugins in newer versions won't work -Discreet Logic's and now Autodesk's policy
  4. do you have SweetFx installed by chance? I think Sweet Fx captures to Flight folder (in which it resists to work)

  8. it's my TWPOSTPROCESS.FX shader modifications that make the pits a bit too dark indeed -but the slight day bloom we have now is IMO worth it For the night is ...pink and full of terrors! ...but the Firebar burns them all away!

  11. TY Dave! for those willing to test -it's beta of course, lacks different clouds graphics for different weather states and few tricks I plan to experiment with, but otherwise working. Also as this has been a concern for many previously -the sky colours transitions are back at stock values

Mue, the Y-trees seem not to work any longer for me, with the 2006 version of TE I wonder Mue if we could do some sort of (any popular 3D format here) converter to finally have real 3D custom objects as TOD files? Or as I see it, engine "on the fly" creates the meshes from TOD files? Hmmm... I got plenty of unused 3D stuff done for SF/SF2 that could have use of this

    This is repainted, enhanced tileset of GermanyCE terrain from SF2 Europe. Version 1.1 -check changelog for list of updates. All roads have been darkened, now appear as medium gray; opposite to previous yellowish -white. All seasons have been replaced by new ones, slightly different than before. New seasons added -thaw before spring and early summer. All TOD files are new, taken strictly from "trees, buildings graphics, TODs update" recently released. Main G-type fields layout has been corrected and organised. Now layout is back more like it was in original TW tileset. Corresponding modified TODs included. As an experiment all bmp files have been replaced by jpg format for HDD space conservation. Tiles are 512x512, downsampled from 1024x1024 templates. This pack FULLY replaces any of my GermanyCE 4 seasons mods. You don't need to have previous version installed -if you do, all old files will be replaced by new ones.

Seriously, I own latest 3D Studio Max (which is a bitch, if you plan to bake -don't!) the Mach-One-Manuals blueprints are around 15-35 bucks per plane -I know, I've been there, purchased some for my freeware mod works- so the claimage to them being around 10,000..? gimme this money and I WILL show you how a plane looks... ticket to here included. IF you get the sarcasm. EDIT: ok, the modeling software costs "a bit" but I won't accept the thought TK buys new copy of the software every goddamn time they model new plane!
