  1. A visit on the Russian Corvette Steregushchy

    thank you Jonathan
  2. I tried to make a "dummy for dummies" DIANE few years ago Arthur, but the results weren't that good so I dumped the idea. Heavily modded avionics with custom graphics if you ask, but with all the limits of the engine
  3. File Name: Yak-28B Brewer stand-in cockpit File Submitter: Stary File Submitted: 01 June 2013 File Category: Jet Cockpits This is stand-in cockpit for soviet YAK-28B jet bomber. This is basically slightly reworked and "modernized" Il-28 cockpit to be used in radar-equipped soviet jet bombers (-28I, -28L etc. AND twin engine interceptors, I'm looking at you Farmer!) the one used here being Yak-28B. you can grab Yak-28B Brewer here: http://combatace.com/files/file/11965-yak-28b-for-sf2/ Comes with build-in experimental, yet working and accurate bombsight. An evolution of idea I had back in 2008 or so... The bombsight switches on automatically when you select air to ground ordnances (including guns). Selecting caged mode switches you back to pilot's seat. For ease of use I placed backup radar screen in the bombsight "compartment". Made and tested in Jul12 full-merged installation, so it's preferable setup. Has NOT been tested in latest May13 install, you have been warned. Should work ok though Credits: Pasko, Lindr2 and all that had their input to the Yak-28 series. TK,Thirdwire for keeping the PC series still alive CombatAce community for being who they are (and you know the names!) Installation: First install Yak-28B from above link. Unpack to your Yak-28B folder, overwrite when asked. Legal info etc: CA Freeware License apply. Feel free to tweak/repaint/re-release in other mods, just give me credits. Not to be used in any sort of payware. Have fun Stary Click here to download this file

  14. I'm not installing it at the moment, will do later BUT as stated above two observations: 1) the option to have expansion packs independent from certain titles is a big plus that will boost their sales IMO 2) I wouldn't hold my breath at the moment but this might be hinting that Exp3 is around the corner... and this is a good sign that Thirdwire is still around for us PC folks

  16. File Name: OTC Cuba repaint (new tileset) File Submitter: Stary File Submitted: 18 May 2013 File Category: SF2 Series Add On Terrains 05-25-2013 mod updated to version 1.5: new in version 1.5 is TOTAL rework of tileset, all tiles replaced with new mostly satellite-based high resolution tiles some trees graphics modified to avoid size issues on various tiles (ie. Desert-to-mountain transitionals, mountain tiles) Installation: Unpack with 7zip to your OTC Cuba terrain folder, overwrite when asked. initial upload readme: This is >>really<< simple repaint and tweaks to OTC Cuba terrain looks. Tiles have been recoloured, upscaled to 1024^ and undergo some tricky tricks to make them appear as they have more "depth" from air. Trees have been scaled down and I replaced their graphics with better quality textures (I borrowed from my other mods) to fit the new overall tones. At one point I tried to replace some of the ground textures with better quality ones, however as they were sticking out too much from the tileset I abandoned this idea. I think that's all. Have fun, and big THANK YOU! to original OTC creators and especially Eburger68 for putting this one together! Stary Click here to download this file

  18. File Name: A-4C dark grey cockpit repaint File Submitter: Stary File Submitted: 26 May 2013 File Category: Jet Cockpits Tiny mod for Scooters fans, optional dark grey cockpit. Slightly sharpened instruments etc. Not meant to be an accurate modification -my personal mod made for fun -though might look ok in some mercenary force campaign. This mod requires stock A-4C present in your installation. Extract to your aircraft folder, it comes with build-in subfolders structure Stary Click here to download this file
  19. File Name: OTC Cuba repaint -warmer colours edition File Submitter: Stary File Submitted: 25 May 2013 File Category: Tilesets for Terrains As some might find my Cuba repaint (version 1.5) a bit too dull, monotone and on the dark side, here's optional warmer, more colorful and slightly brighter edition of the tileset. Basically, same as my Cuba repaint version 1.5, just looks and feels tad different (for the better I hope!) Just unpack to your Cuba terrain folder and overwrite when asked. 20. around time FE2 came out, but 1) it was never finished nor meant to be released 2) I don't know if I even have those somewhere Try Jan Tuma's fabulous repaint/treemod Russo
  21. 30 years ago this weekend

One thing though -no such movie exists. Ohh, riiight, Papa Lucas thought "Revenge" in the title wouldn't be suitable for younger audience, and younger audience, the plastic toys kind of one was his target group by then... yeah, right. Thank you Greedo Lucas
