from my experience it's best to search via known plane name or NATO codename, indeed I too have been having troubles with designations being unrecognized by the search engine since day one

Gepard, it might work, but you'd have to do few extra steps: 1) convert .jpg filest to bitmaps (I think Series1 doesn't read jpg?) 2) change all textures pointers in GermanyCE_Data.ini from .jpg to .bmp 3) disable all shaders references* in said Data.ini and then you could try reenabling them one by one, I'm not sure which ones are Series1 supported and which are strictly SF2 ones *except TerSolidObject and TerAlphaObject, these might work, dunno about my modified versions of said shaders included with this mod

have you tried without any targetareas? also check the shaders pointers in data.ini!
