  1. A little break from all the scooters...Just found Wrench's KAW Shooting Stars with ErikGens superb F-80C and played around with it a bit. F-80C from 16th FIS, Korea 1950
  2. I did a little test and this is what I found out and seem to work. I post only relevant parts of the inis. nation.ini ======= [Nation214] Name=USAF Aggressors <-- that name is used in all relevant INIs DisplayName=USAF Aggressors <-- change to whatever you need Alignment=ENEMY ... squadronlist.ini ============= [squadron655] Name=57th ATG <-- that name is used in all relevant INIs DisplayName=57th ATG "Flogger" <-- change to whatever you need Nation=USAF Aggressors <aircraft>_data.ini =============== [MissionData] NationName=USAF Aggressors ... texture.ini in aircrafts skinfolder ========================= [TextureSet] Name=VA-126 - Red 23, 1983 <-- change to whatever you need Nation=USAF Aggressors Squadron=57th ATG ... decals.ini in aircrafts skinfolder ========================= //DO_NOT_DELETE-->USED_FOR_LOADOUT_SCREEN-->NationsMenu [Decal001] MeshName=Rudder DecalLevel=0 DecalFacing=RIGHT FilenameFormat=A-4E_Aggressors\empty <-- change to whatever you need Position=0.0,0.0 Scale=0.0 DecalMaxLOD=1 //DO_NOT_DELETE-->USED_FOR_LOADOUT_SCREEN-->UnitsMenu [Decal002] MeshName=Rudder DecalLevel=1 DecalFacing=LEFT FilenameFormat=A-4E_Aggressors\empty <-- change to whatever you need Position=-0.0,0.0 Scale=0.0 DecalMaxLOD=1 //DO_NOT_DELETE-->USED_FOR_LOADOUT_SCREEN-->NumbersMenu [Decal003] MeshName=RightWing DecalLevel=2 DecalFacing=LEFT FilenameFormat=A-4E_Aggressors\empty <-- change to whatever you need Position=-0.0,0.0 Scale=0.0 DecalMaxLOD=1 You need at least one decal for level 0, 1 and 2 for each menu to show. It works even if the decal doesn't exist, you just have to have it in the INI. I recommend placing these decals on different meshes, as they seem to count towards the maximum decal per mesh. Hope that helps! Rene/Nyghtfall Edit: Added a screenshot.
  3. SF2 Vietnam (although modded) - most campaigns I played were in Vietnam....I really like the challenge to fight my way through tons of aaa and sams and then drop some bombs on a target the old way (no ccip or other helpers). And I like the colorful jets planes of that time.

  5. The silver one with invasion stripes looks really nice! Good work :)
  6. That looks great! I like the Blenheim, don't know why. :)
  7. you should try mue's great lodviewer! according to that they are named "bump"
  8. A-4B from VA-81 Crusaders aboard USS Forrestal in 1961 and A-4F from VA-55 Warhorses aboard USS Hancock in 1972.
  9. It's a girl!

Congratulations to you and your family!
  10. nice work with the weathering- and staineffects!
  11. Maybe I'm getting this wrong, but you could create a new weapon in the weaponsfolder from the rack that links to the according missile/bomb? This way you use it like any other weapon and don't have to care for the rack used. This is from NATO-Fighters "AGM-65B_LAU-117_GAF.INI". Something like a 1-shot-Rocketpod (Yours would be 3-Shot then). [WeaponData001] TypeName=AGM-65B_LAU-117_GAF FullName=AGM-65B on LAU-117 <-- name in loadout-menu ModelName=LAU-117_GAF <-- the rack Mass=53.000000 Diameter=0.500000 Length=2.2170000 SubsonicDragCoeff=0.200000 SupersonicDragCoeff=0.770000 AttachmentType=W_Germany SpecificStationCode= NationName=WGermany StartYear=1972 EndYear=2040 Availability=3 BaseQuantity=54 Exported=TRUE ExportStartYear=1972 ExportEndYear=2040 ExportAvailability=3 WeaponDataType=2 RailLaunched=FALSE RocketTypeName=AGM-65B_GAF <-- the weapon used on the rack NumRockets=1 ROF=1.000000 FireEffectName= FireEffectTime=0.000000 FrontCoverNodeName= RearCoverNodeName= ShowRockets=TRUE Rocket01Position=0.000000,0.000000,-0.055000
  12. @mue: "Could not load LOD-file". I tried to open the A-1H.ini/A-1J.ini from the unpacked cat and from a merged installation, both with the same error-message. Most other stock-planes I tried seem to work though. So this is no big problem for me, if it's just the 2. :)
  13. Yes, I can open them. My objectdata2.cat has the same size as yours (mue) and I don't have the unlocked LODs. So it works. Just see the screenshot in my last post.
  14. Even locked SF2 LODs can be loaded! Attached is the TWs A-4B. A-1H and A-1J for example gave an error message though. Again a big thanks to mue for this tool!
  15. Hey there, sorry to hear that! I hope your workmate can restore at least something :( I can sent you all the mods you sent me earlier if needed. Thats probably just a tiny bit of your whole work, but would be sad so see you quit modding. Hope all goes well!
  16. played around with the 2seat scooter a bit. VT-21 Fighting Redhawks TA-4J
  17. Hey there, At the monent I'm working on an OA-4M updatepack, that contains all planes and units. For some time H&MS-12 Outlaws had a small "Outlaw" on the tail of their planes. Does anyone have a good picture of it or maybe has decalsheets from OA-4M-modelkits that contain that little man and can provide a scan of it? Thanks for your help!
  18. Finally done! I used Wrench's template, added Nengajyou's decal from the screenshot, repainted everything and changed some bits over the screenshotdecal to get closer to the photo. I like the result. :) Thanks to all involved here!
  19. @Wrench: That's a great start, thanks. Will definitely help me. @Nengayou: Great picture! Thanks. Did you do the decals? The Samurai-Patch seems like a good addition. :)
  20. Well, now that you say it...I can see it too. Sometimes one doesn't see the obvious. Maybe I can go from there...changing some picture of Yosemite Sam accordingly. Should work at least as a stopgap, if it doesn't turn out good. Thanks!
