  4. ran both SF1 and MSpaint as Administrator, still getting blacked out images disregard, didn't know the game created a screenshots folder.
  5. ill change credits, thank you. ive been using MSpaint (print screen button on keyboard) and it's always worked, but ever since i got the Oct2008 patch, it doesnt work, it gives me a blacked out image.
  6. I have EricJ's F/A-18E and while playing with animations, noticed a "probe" deploy from the bottom of the aircraft and is towed during flight. what is it? is it some kind of antenna/sensor or type of RAT (Ram Air Turbine)? I'd take a screenshot but for some reason i can't, i always get a blank image.

  13. i have SFP1, highest ive gone in general was "sub-orbital", 400,000ft with SR-71 (firewalled in full afterburner, gradual climb, not straight up), loaded ive gotten a F-15E to about 90kft
  14. Since SFP1 is set in the 1950s/1960s, I was wondering if anyone knew where to find civilian airliners from that era. Ive seen DC-8 and 707 on here, but they were for SF2 and the only true airliners ive found on here were 747, 757 and A310. More specifically, im looking for 707, DC-8, DC-10, 727, CV-880, and CV-990. Before anyone tells me to just get SF2, i dont have the money/credit card to get that, i can only do SF1 for now. Thanks in advance

    got Suicidal's 707 Condor, wondering if anyone knew where to find the JSTARS model it was based off of or the 707 model. ive looked all over here, couldnt find either.
  16. im having problems with the Cat file extractor tool, and with that i cant add weapons or anything. my computer has never done any updates, so i dont need to make it compatible with anything and it extracted everything fine when i first installed SFP1 (ive since reinstalled several times for different reasons) now it doesnt seem to do anything. i have plenty of aircraft that have no weapons because i cant extract the inis to add in their weapons.
  17. disregard, ive found a way around all this. changing everything to default weapons (guns atleast, not sure how to change ordinance). all planes have working guns now, just some i cant carry bombs or missiles.
  18. ive got WW2 up to modern aircraft on SF1 and ive got some SF2 converted to SF1, are there any WW1 aircraft for SF1 or would it be possible to convert them from WW1 games over to SF1?
  19. no folder appears. same thing happens with every extractor ive tried, nothing happens. it says everything has extracted successfully, but i cant find any folders and nothing is opened

  22. i have YEYEYE's 757-200 and i noticed something. when you open speedbrakes/airbrakes, the Reversers slide open. I was wondering if there was a way to make working TR's (actually slow down or push plane backwards on ground). Or a way to make them stay closed in air, but open upon braking on the ground.
  23. I have harriers and helicopters (and F-35B), and ive looked around for this, but how can i map (on keyboard) thrust vectoring commands, atleast for VTOL aircraft?
  24. been using the default Keyboard mapping, my issue is transitioning from vertical to horizontal flight. i turn on wing leveler, which does fairly well keeping me from cart-wheeling into the ground (atleast with the Harriers, F-35B is hard to handle). im getting the hang of it though, i can get a MV-22 off the ground without crashing.
  25. i had a joystick, but its not working, using keyboard now. its not that bad, but in the case of VTOL aircraft, i need a joystick
