  1. Mi-24P Public Beta

    Absolutely a must-have! Thanks!
  2. OV-10A Bronco SF2

Sadly, there is a very unpleasant error. At certain angles, thin gray lines appear, stretching from the aircraft down to the ground, where its shadow is projected. There are holes in the 3d-skeleton of the aircraft - leakage of the shadows thru edges open on a mesh. So when a shadow is generated behind the model, glitches begin. It's very annoying as looking at the planes. Thus, the model needs repair in 3D Max.
  3. Taube with rifleman

That is exactly what we need! Thanks again, Steve! Also, I'm found another small glitch, but it refers to skins, not to the model. Yesterday I installed excellent skins made by gambit168. After I selected in the loadout screen a 'white squares & crosses', I saw a dove - the half-albino. Earlier, a similar bug occurred with Albatros DI of Prince Friedrich Karl von Preußen... If someone will face this problem, it is easy to fix. It seems that the game doesn't like the long names of the directory. After renaming the 'White squares & crosses' folder to Linen2, the problem goes away.
  4. I have nothing against. Moreover, the large resolution of the skin provides sufficient clarity of the image at a high level. Many aircraft in FE have decals painted direct on the skins. And not all of them look terrible. But still I'm convinced the TGA decals look more distinct from different angles. In any case, this is just my humble personal opinion, you can do as you please) I think this is a wise decision. Respect! ))
  5. Taube skins final ver.

    Just amazing! Thanx )
  6. No, no, no! IMHO, you don't have to draw crosses directly on .bmp files. 'Cause they will be smeared at certain angles you see the object from. It would be much better if you left the skins "as is", while the crosses would be separate decals, as it is customary to do now. You could have noticed that Stephen Himself is doing just so. P.S. "I have pathological hatred to paint on decals, especially in FE 2, because the .bmp format is just terrible, Jpg is much better (load a few FE aircraft into SF 2 and you'll see what I mean !!!)" © Trotsky00 In any case, thanks for your work.
  7. Mirage Factory F-15A Eagle

WARNING !!! If you plan to use this aircraft in WoI, or any other Third Wire title that's been updated with any patch dated Oct 2008 or later ... Delete the F-15A.SHD file. Then edit the shadow entry in the F-15A.ini file as follows : [shadow] CastShadow=TRUE ShadowLOD=F-15A.SHD <--------------------Remove this entry ShadowType=1 <------------------------------------Remove this entry ShadowCastDist=10000 MaxVisibleDistance=400 This will protect you from the appearance of graphic artifacts (you'll see what I mean !!!) :))

  10. Lightning Fmk6

There is a slight error with 3d model.. causing the shadow to show those dreaded lines from offending part of model to the shadow... RussoUK made the "leak" shadows thru edges open on a mesh. Back in 2008, he promised to fix this and upload a new model, but ... Probably, he is too lazy to find the 3DS file and put a few stitches on it ... ))
  11. Taube with rifleman

Hi, Stephen! I am getting some strange artifacts when I fly Taube. If you look back from the cockpit, strange lines are visible near the tail. Obviously, they are linked to the elevator and move together with the movement of the control stick. Anyone else have this problem? You know how to fix that? Thanks!
  12. OV10D_v1.rar

Very good work. Thank you! But I can’t fly without shadows, because the shadows look great when they work ...)) If you want to improve the external view of this aircraft, use Notepad to open your OV10.ini file, and then add (copy / paste) the following 4 lines: [Shadow] CastShadow=TRUE ShadowCastDist=10000 MaxVisibleDistance=800
  13. Nice plane, really good job! But sadly, there is a very unpleasant bug. At certain angles, thin gray lines appear, stretching from the aircraft down to the ground, where its shadow is projected. There are holes in the 3D-skeleton of the aircraft - somewhere not welded vertices. So when a shadow is generated behind the model, glitches begin. It's very annoying as looking at the planes. Thus, the model needs repair in 3D Max. Or just don't enable shadows in the OV-10A.ini file, but it's not at all good ...
  14. Work-In-Progress Heinkel He.51

Also in the download section at the A-Team site there are a lot of aircraft that were used in Spain during the Civil War (see Pre-WW2 Planes and WWII Planes): http://cplengineeringllc.com/SFP1/ And even some Spanish terrain and campaign іs available for download (at the bottom of the page): http://cplengineeringllc.com/SFP1/Skunworks-AI.html If someone else has not quarrel with that bloody bastard - welcome!
  15. SAAB J32B ......"B" for BETA!

Really nice work! CAUTION!!! It is recommended that you add this entry below to your J32B.ini file... [shadow] CastShadow = TRUE ShadowCastDist = 10000 MaxVisibleDistance = 800
  16. GMG RF-84F Thunderflash (V1.0)

In general, this is a great model, but it all spoils the glitch with the display of shadows! There is a hole in the 3D skeleton of the plane - somewhere peaks are not welded together. A model needs to be repaired in 3DS MAX.
  17. Taube with rifleman

Thank you, this 'pigeon' is simply wonderful. I don't know what to say! REALLY I LOVE IT!!!
  18. Two Armored Cars for the Eastern Front

Thank you, Stephen, I'm touched. Your words are very valuable to me. I'm sincerely glad that I can consider myself your friend. This is a great honor for me.
  19. Two Armored Cars for the Eastern Front

Thank you for your compliment )) It does you credit. However, I didn't say anywhere that I don't like Stephen's excellent works. I just said that these or other details do not correspond to historical realities. As the saying is, feel the difference, Sir. Have a good time!
  20. I have a book "Armor of the Russian army. Armored cars and armored trains in the First World War", printed in Moskow in 2008. Of course, it is in Russian - "Броня русской армии. Бронеавтомобили и бронепоезда в Первой мировой войне"
  21. Two Armored Cars for the Eastern Front

Let it be so. You know that I'm a fanatic of meticulous realism, because I consider this game a kind of the museum of military glory and technology. However a ground vehicles me hardly cares.
  22. Two Armored Cars for the Eastern Front

Good work, Stephen! Thanks. I have only one remark: all 9 armored cars, that were produced in 1914/1915, had only 3 machine guns. It was envisaged that the front and rear machine guns were "stationary", and the side gun could be carried from side to side. Certainly, in the air fight we don't have time to count the number of guns on each armored vechicle... https://topwar.ru/81828-broneavtomobili-russo-balt-tip-c.html
  23. Thank you for the next great 3D models! As for the armored cars on the chassis of the Russo-Balt Type C, in 1914 only 8 armored cars were built. All these armored cars served in the 1st machine-gun automobile comany (avtorota) and were used on the North-Western front (in East Prussia and Poland on the direction of Lodz). At last, in 1915 another one armored car was produced. Another one armored vehicle of similar design (on a chassis) was manufactured at the Izhora Plant in 1915 for the 1st motorcycle company (rota). Of all built, only this armored car was actually used during the Civil War.
  24. Junkers J.1

Thank you, Geezer! When this infantry flier is finished, it will be just great! As always, I have one question: it is for FE2 only? Or it maybe convertible to 1st Gen?
  25. Classic WW1 Movie

Why you do not like the Pfalz D.III and D.IIIa by A-Team? http://cplengineeringllc.com/SFP1/ (By the way, in this film a Lt. Stachel's Pfalz is incorrectly painted. ;) The fuselage of this aircraft for some reason is covered with lozenge instead of silver/silvergrau).
