Messerschmitt Bf-109K4 Package for SF, WoV & WoE WW2 ETO Installs: 10/11/07
This is a re-build of Wolf's original 109G10 into the Bf-109K4. This is a semi-complete package that includes all the necessary inis, tga, skin bmps, cockpit and cockpit mods --EXCEPTING-- the aircraft LOD file. You'll be copying the LOD from the 109G10 for use in this mod.
The skin represents JG77 in the late war time frame. It was created by my enhanced template, with redrawn panel and rivets, and the stencling for the warning/service tags.
This package also includes a NEW 109K hangar screen, ONLY available in this mod.
PLEASE read the enclosed readme for detailed install instructions, plus my notes and comments. Important stuff, folks!

A6M5 Type 52C Zero Package: for SF/WoV/WoE WW2, PTO installs
This little modification creates a new aircraft based off ArmorDave's A6M5 "Zeke" IJN fighter. Included in this package are the skins, inis, and some various small and sundry bits. The aircraft LOD and cockpit folders are NOT included - you 'll be transfering them over from the stock A6M5. Therefore, it is NOT a complete aircraft package.
Ini mods include changing out the weapons for 12.7mm machine guns, 2 in the wings and one in the upper engine cowling deck, along with the standard 20mm cannons in the wings. No other changes to the flight model has been effected.
The skin, from a new template created by me from the original Volks & Lansen skins (and using parts thereof), represents 332 Kokutai, based at Kure, Japan approx. September, 1944.
I've also given you some other gunsight tgas, so you can choose between them.
= You MUST have the latest Weapons Pak installed for the WW2 Weapons!!! =
Obviously, you must have AD's Zero's installed to use the package....
PLEASE read the enclosed readme text for full, detailed, step-by-step install instructions. Also, the usual General Notes and Commentaries section for additional information and full credits.
Happy Landings!!

A6M7 Type 63 Zero Package: for SF/WoV/WoE WW2, PTO installs
This little modification creates a new aircraft based off ArmorDave's A6M5 "Zeke" IJN fighter. Included in this package are the skins, inis, and some various small and sundry bits. The aircraft LOD and cockpit folders are NOT included - you 'll be transfering them over from the stock A6M5. Therefore, it is NOT a complete aircraft package.

The skin, from a new template created by me from the original Volks & Lansen skins (and using parts thereof), represents 210 Kokutai, based in Japan, sometime in 1945. You'll have serial numbers for 18 aircraft, and one 'end of the line' filler.
I've also given you some other gunsight tgas, so you can choose between them.
You will also be using the Weapons Editor to add 2 new IJNAF rockets, based on existing one. No lods are included, or needed, as such.
= You MUST have the latest Weapons Pak installed for the WW2 Weapons!!! =
Obviously, you must have AD's Zero's installed to use the package....
I had originally started this, but got an 85% complete mod from christian59 (who's real name I don't know), so he gets a substantial portion of the credit for this mod ... I just cleaned up the inis a little, and did the skin and decals.
His work also includes a new, more faded bmp for the 52 gallon drop tank, and the aforementioned rockets.
PLEASE read the enclose readme for more, detailed install instructions!!!

Edited from the readme:
Curtis-Wright Hawk 75A, French Armee De L'Air Package
for SF, WoV & WoE WW2 ETO Installs: 10/11/07
This is a complete package including ALL parts necessary to unzip and install a new, export version of Wolf's P-36 Mohawk, for the French Air Force from the start of WW2, to the time of the 'Sitzkrieg', and then into the Battle of France.
This package contains 7 skins for the following units:
N124
SPA67
SPA95
SPA153
SPA155
SPA160
AdA - generic skin, that was my original, with minimal markings. Just a "Plane Jane" so to speak ;)
There is a new French 7.5mm machine gun, courtesy of Heck, and a 50kg bomb by me, so you'll be using BOTH the gun and weapons editor to add them. (note: both these weapons were included in the Douglas DB-7 recently released)
I have to list the credits here for all to see..
Wolf257: for creating the aircraft and letting us mod it to death, also for providing the 3ds source file for modification!
Capun for making the my requested changes to the LOD -- I can't thank you enough, CP!!
'Heck Mitchell' for all the decal work & the French MGs -- sure made MY job eaiser
Full detailed instructions are in the enclosed readme...especially for the weapons additons, plus my notes and comments, and historical background.
With thanks to all who helped with this mod!

now...we just need to BoB map modified for the Battle of France, and few more planes.....
*Note: this packing includes the latest skin. I'd originally planned this only as an update, but it appears I never uploaded this aircraft package here at CA...so, you've got it all now!*
Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm Vought Corsair Mk.II mod for SF/WoV/WoE
*Note: this re-pack includes the new skin and fixed decal*
This is a modifcation of Wolf257's F4U Corsair into the Mark II version used by the British Royal Navy in the Atlantic. (minus the clipped wing tips - as that isn't modeled)
This is a semi complete aircraft mod, creating a country specific version for use in your World War 2: ETO installs ONLY!! As such, all the loadouts have been adjusted to fit Royal Navy aircraft of the time (or as best guess as my research has shown). This aircraft does NOT carry rockets. It does, however, have the inner under wing and centerline stations split into 3 groups, allowing for asymetrical loadout (as seen in several pictures I have)
!Semi-complete means the aircraft lod is NOT included - you'll have to transfer it over from one of your other Corsairs!
It represents aircraft from FAA 1842 Squadron embarked on HMS FORMIDABLE during the time frame of the attacks against the TIRPITZ.
You'll also find a new ETO Corsair hangar screen, I created just for this mod, and ONLY available with it.
==NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE THE LATEST WEAPONS PAK INSTALLED FOR PROPER WEAPONS LOADOUT!!==
Please read the enclosed readmes (there's 2 - for for install, and one explained the new 'updated' skin) for complete install instructions.
Enjoy!

Douglas A-20A 'Havoc' mod for SF/WoV/WoE PTO WW2 Installs
While working on upgrading the targets for the New Guinea map, I realized we didn't have any of the very early model Havoc's as used by General Kinney's 5th Air Force. To that end, this little mod was developed.
It represents A-20A aircraft from the 89th Bomb Squadron (Light) of the 3rd Attack Group, based at Port Moresby in mid-1942. I've tried to match, with what few photos are available, the serial numbers and nose arts. The first 7 serials =are= actual aircraft that served in the South West Pacific theatre, and I've matched as best I can the nose arts used. With the exception of "Rebel Rocket", whose serial number I was unable to find. Altogether, you'll have serials for ~28 aircraft, which is probably more than General Kinney had working at any given time, in that early stage of the war.
These aircraft, even though they still have the glass nose, have been given the 'strafer kit' of 4 fixed forward firing 50 caliber machine guns. The bomb aimer's station is not used on these aircraft; the windows have been painted over. The 2 cheek guns have been removed; I've found no data indicating they were used.
There are 2 ways I've designed for this to be used
1) Just use it as another skin for the A-20C/Boston III. or,
this is the best way, and how I built it...
2) Create a new aircraft for USAAF usage. All parts (inis, skin, etc), excepting the aircraft LODs and cockpit folder are supplied for you to do this. A new gunsight tga has also been supplied for use. There's even a new hangar screen, too.
= =You MUST have the latest Weapons Pak to get the WW2 Weapons and Guns!! ==
PLEASE read the enclosed readme for detailed, step-by-step instructions for both choices...I didn't write it for my health, I wrote it make YOUR lives easier... There's also the usual comments from "General Notes", plus a list of sources and Thank Yous
Happy Hunting!

J-8 (Jian-8 Fighter aircraft 8) / F-8
The J-8 was the first PLAAF aircraft of domestic design, with design work beginning in 1964. The overall configuration is a rather straightforward enlargement of the MiG-21/J-7 layout to accomodate two engines. Although it resembled Mikoyan's experimental Ye-152A, contrary to some early reports, it was not based on that aircraft. Production began in December 1979, with about 100-150 units of the first configuration entering service. Design work on the improved J-8-2 began in 1980, with production beginning in the late 1980. As with the cancelled "Super 7" upgrade to the single-engine J-7, the J-8-2 completely reworks the front end of the aircraft, adding a much larger radar and ventral air inlets, along with various other less pronounced improvements. The best that can be said of the J-8 is that once upgraded it will be no more than an advanced obsolete aircraft, comparable in configuration and aerodynamic performance to the Su-15 FLAGON.
