USAF/ Jolly Rogers Draken
By darkjak
Another insane Saab skin from me
Yet again it's a fictive skin. It's a Saab J35 painted to resemble Jolly Roger's aircraft.
A possible story that could lead up to an aircraft like this would be if the cold war wouldn't end, Sweden didn't make the cuts made in the late 80's, and then went on into the 90's, meaning that Sweden could afford to make an Agressor program. And to maintain neutrality, the aircraft would be both painted in Russian and American schemes.
Or another could quite simply be that the US during the cold war would have a policy of getting the most efficient aircraft, rather than whatever the US industries come up with. Which would result in purchasing a few Drakens for evaluation. Why it would end up on an aircraft carrier based unit needn't be explained.
I want to mention that this skin is based on whiteknight06604's bare metal Draken skin. Also, this is a first version. I'll see if I'll improve it later, anyone willing is free to improve it himself, but mention me and whiteknight.

B-66B Destroyer, 84th BS, Skin & Ini Update Pak
By Wrench
B-66B Destroyer Skin and Ini Update Pak for WoV, WoE, WoI Post 9/08 Patch
This is basically a re-decaling of Bunyap's B-66B "Destroyer" light jet bomber. It reuses the original skin bmps; no changes to them, and add new decals for 25 aircraft. The new decals are the "buzz" and serial numbers. The numbers ARE accurate, as they were used on B-66s, but I can only claim historical accuracy for a few.
This package is designed to REPLACE the existing 84th Bomb Squadron skin as supplied with the aircraft when first released.
Also included are 'modified' or updated main ini, as well as data, loadout, avionics and cockpit inis. They, too, are designed to replace the originals as originally issued
The cockpit is based off the F-4E, and is tweekified using Lexx_Luthors Stargetic Movement Method. The cockpit folder IS included, as the Phantom exists in all versions of the game, I feel this is in no way violating any EULA. The data ini has been updated with ECM/decoy enhancements (albeit not 100% correct, but close), and includes the fix for the bomb bay as seen on the CombatAce knowledge base. Gun aim angles have been adjusted to match the gunsight, and enhanced AI sections have been added in the hopes of improving your survivabillity (and the AI hitting the target). A landing light has also been added. Pilot figures are NOT included, but they are available at my site (link in my sig below).
=NOTE to SF/SFG users: you will most likely experience visual anamolies in the cockpit, as I've taken advantage to the "OpenCockpit=TRUE" coding included in the 9/08 patch, which was taken from First Eagles. You'll just have to live with it, unitl the SF/SFG patch arrives (whenever!). The same goes for those that have NOT patched WoV/WoE to the latest standard.
The loadout ini supplied is basicaly the same as issued; you should have no problems with it using either the Bunyap Weapons Pack, The Mirage Factory Weapons Pak, or no weapons pak. Be advised, however, you'll still need to add the drop tanks to the TMF pak or to a 'clean' weaponsdata ini (if using not a WepPak). I've suppled the tank, complete, in the new "folder style" format as used by TMF. Instructions for adding it, if you don't have it already, are supplied in the "Tank_B-66" folder. You should have no problems with it.
And just for fun, my old Hangar screen is suppled as well. The main ini is already set to use it. WoI users may want to use the original as supplied, as mine has the 'blackboard'', and dosen't fit the WoI style of captioning.
== You MUST have Bunyap's B-66B already installed to use this pak ==
As you can expect, there is a highly detailed, step-by-step readme enclosed. It's suggested you give it a REAL good read through. And the expected "General Notes and Nonesense" section.
Good Hunting!

M/90 Gripen v1.0
By darkjak
Well, here's my first upload on this page. As a matter of fact, it's my ONLY self-made mod to any game.
As you all remember, Swedish aircraft traditionally are at least to a small extent painted in some kind of camouflage paint. The first exception is Gripen. So I decided to create this skin. Firstly because I wanted to see what it looks like, and secondarilly because I want this in my forthcoming campaign. Naturally, the decision fell on the modern M/90 camo pattern used on tanks, trucks and uniform within the Swedish army.
All you have to do is to unzip the directory and drop it into your Gripen folder.
This skin was created by me, if you upload it onto other pages, remember to mention that it was made by me, and that I'm here on combatace. Also, please don't add it onto any campaigns without asking me first.

VQ-1, EP-3E Aries II
By Muesli
Hi!
Another quicky. Representing a VQ-1 bird
with NO serial numbers but with double digit
nose numbers, the EP-3E is a rare bird. The USN
has 11 of them, divided between VQ-1 and VQ-2.
Not (yet) included in the EP-3E beta package.
Enjoy the nice target!

PS: Thanks for the A-team, Capun, Raptorman and CB Prod.

Canadian CP-140 Aurora
By Muesli
Hi!
For the people wanting to have a Canadian skinned P-3, or the ones who
can't wait to get a hold of Capun's CP-140 (in which this skin will
be featured soon, but not yet) I have an overall grey skin with
correct numbering.
Go fly!
PS:Thanks to Hntrfxr whose basic skin I used as a basis.
PPS:The decals file doesn't have to be changed when applied
to the CP-140, but adjustments in name are needed when
using it for a P-3.

Historical 45th TRS RF-101C serial number decals
By mppd
This small package provides accurate RF-101C serial numbers for the "AH" coded Voodoos of Det. 1, 45th TRS, 460th TRW at Tan Son Nhut AB, South Vietnam for erikgen's excellent RF-101C package. All 31 airplanes which actually flew with the unit from early 1967 until 1970 are presented here. The serial numbers were created from actual photographs of these airplanes, and microfilm records obtained from the AFHRC, Maxwell AFB, Ala.
I have no photos of the blue polka dot fin tip so I did not use it - I think that it may have been pretty rare. I also tweaked the colors to the great camouflage artwork, and deleted the tape lights which were not added until around 1970.
The 45th TRS, 39th Air Division at Misawa AB, Japan had been deploying on temporary duty with RF-101C Voodoo aircraft to Don Muang Airport, Tan Son Nhut AB and Udorn RTAFB since November 1961. The squadron moved into Tan Son Nhut during July 1966 as Detachment 1, 45th TRS attached to the 460th TRW, PACAF. The squadron on paper remained based at Misawa, and in fact was reassigned to the 475th TFW as of 15 January 1968, but conducted all of its flying operations in the combat environment at Tan Son Nhut. The unit was operational there until 31 December 1970, but supposedly the last Voodoo left Saigon on 16 November 1970. Shifting back to Misawa, the unit converted to RF-4Cs in 1971. (The 20 surviving Voodoos were flown back to the states where almost all flew with the 153rd TRS, 186th TRG, Mississippi ANG).
The 45th TRS RF-101Cs seemed to have adopted tailcodes a bit later than other tactical aircaft in the theater, but certainly by late 1967 or early 1968. It was the only tailcoded RG-101C unit in Southeast Asia.
Fixed the bad files now.
Credits:
All credits and thanks go to erikgen and his Voodoo team for a terrific add-on for WOV. I only tried to make it a bit more historical for myself and anyone else who is interested.
