  1. French Sopwith Triplane

    This is a Sopwith Triplane in French markings mid 1917.
    Belonging to the Centre D'Aviation Maritime in Dunkirk, France.
     
    I believe the numbers were also on the upper fuselage just aft of the cockpit. But the way the model is set up it is not possible to add these numbers without distortion. I tried and tried, no go.
     
    Thanks to Capun and the SFP1 A-Team for the original Triplane Model and for the permission to skin and repost.

    This is a Captured Sopwith Camel, Ltn Otto Kissnberth Jasta 23b April 1918.
    Captured from 3 sqdn, (RN) note, Sq blue nose, wheel covers and white eagle
    Still on plane, Kissnbarth scored his 20 th victory with this plane when he shot
    Down an SE5 on May 16, 1918, at Tilloy.

  11. Sopwith 1 1/2 Strutters A Flight 43 Sq RFC

    A companion to the default set for the Strutter, this is a high resolution 2048 x 2048 skin set for A Flight. There were three flights, A,B, and C, with six planes in each flight. The serial numbers are correct for the Squadron, but I have not been able to conclusively tie the serial numbers to the individual flight aircraft.

    A companion to the default set for the Strutter, this is a high resolution2048 x 2048 skin set for C Flight. There three flights, A,B, and C with six planes in each flight.     Geoffrey Hornblower Cock, 45 SquadronRFC, got all of his 13 victories in the Strutter, in which he was thehighest scoring ace. Cock was shot down over Warneton on 22 July 1917and made POW.     There are two skins with different wing colors - PC10 and PC12 and with different fulelage's bottom - canvas color and PC10 color.
    I tried to add some "photorealistic" textures for more impressive image of this aircraft.
