    1. Escalation of Libyan/Egyptian Conflict:

      In July of 1977, a series of border skirmishes between the neighboring countries escalates into a full blown conflict. After a botched attempt at a peace agreement, Libya invades Egypt and the Arab. The rest of the Arab world, urging for peace, vows to stay out of the conflict while the Soviet Union sends military aid to Libyan and the United States vows to support Egypt as well as equiping its new regional ally with advanced F-4E fighters.

      This is a "what if?" campaign. Lots of good planes on both sides. Also, lots of similar types on both sides, which makes for some interesting Air to Air engagements.

      Installation:
      Take the LE77 folder out of the zipped folder. Drop it into your Strikefighters2/CAMPAIGNS folder of choice.
      Install any suggested addons.
      Have fun.

      You will need:
      StrikeFighters2
      Strikefighters2Israel
      Wrench's Easter med terrain. -> http://combatace.com/files/file/12989-eastern-mediterranean-terrain-for-sf2/

      You will want:
      DLC AI Packs 1 and 2 -> https://store.thirdwire.com/store_dlc.htm
      ...and make them flyable. Stary has awesome new MiG-19 pits, there are MiG-21 pits out there, and the MirageIIIO pit works well for the radar equipped Mirage and the Nesher/Mirage5BA pit for the others.

      Thanks to Wrench for the very nice terrain.
      Thanks to those who have worked tirelessly on making stock AI planes flyable with awesome new pits.
      Thanks to CombatAce.com for being the best place for all your flight sim needs!

    2. A mod to enhance (more) our SF-2 immersion, to use mostly in our custom campaigns.

      Decals, Skins, Userlists, Data.ini, Cockpits and Planes tailored for Nam use.

      In fact I was bored of all that Charlies with all the same serial numbers for every plane model …

      So I took the real numbers and made the correct serial for EVERY known VPAF plane.
      Now randomized.

      You’ll find the Ace’s name who flown each aircraft, if known, beside his number, too.

      I worked on the userlists to allow the program to use in VietnamSea theatre a VPAF and not a Soviet Skin. Kill marks added.

      This new version add several planes (see list below) and brand new / skins.

      Each model has canopy animation enabled and dedicated sound.

      Pilots, weapons included.

      A new main screen and an old (but good) icon inside.

      This mod is set to work on a full merged vanilla install or on a SF2V Eburger68 great enhanced install, but the “real” J-5A “Fresco-D” added in this pack needs to delete his previous J-5A and J-5 folder and edit all campaigns (see optional folder).

      These are models You have (with part 2 of True VPAF):

    4. ***Solomons campaign Readme***

      This is a "quick" and dirty little campaign for those who have made a Pacific war install. I wanted to do more than just single missions so researched how to make a camapign on my own. It was a little frustrating, but also quite rewarding and fun. I espesially liked the research part. Which brings to mind, this is not a strictly historical campaign. The units that are flyable did fight during the camapign but there are tons of details Im sure people could pick apart till the cows come home.

      What you need...

      To start with, the Solomons Version 3 terrain and wrenchs' planes readily available at combatace. You'll need the F4F-4, P-39/P400, P-38F, SBD-3 and SBD-5, F4U-1_TMF, A6M2, D3a Val, and Ki-43IIb packages from Wrench. He has done an OUTSTANDING job breathing new life into these models. Also the Betty G4M2 from armourdave. Add Starys' solomons and phillippines visual updates and wrenchs' pacific ships. I also added Kesselbrut's Pazific_GOP infantry and AAA units. Also look for the ShermanM4A3 and Type95 tanks, I forgot what the name of the pack I found them in but they are found at combatace.

      If you want to add a little more "period" feel to this campaign, add my Menu music and Pacific AirWar menu screens, also found at combatace.

      Just unzip this file into your C:\Users\Jeff\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2 PAW folder, (or whatever you named your PAW install.)

      Hope ya like 'em. Please let me know if there are any issues, I have not been able to test as thoroughly as I would like. These files are released under the CombatAce Freeware Licensing agreement. You are free to modify these files and use them as you wish as long as the files are not used in payware of any kind. If you use them, please remember to give credit. These files are released to a great community of simmers at CombatAce and SimHq. Have fun and God bless.

    5. This mod provides you with a batch of colorful, reduced-size counters, devoted to each of the nationalities present during Operation Desert Storm, 1991. Besides having a more attractive map and less confused stacks, you can also find more easily the units you're after. As a rule, the counters with rectangular national flags and brigade/division/corps devices show the ground units, while the counters with roundels concern the air units.

      Also, I propose here a improved order of battle concerning the ground units only, that I feel closer to the actual strengths and positions of both belligerents' units at the time of the launching of Operation Desert Sabre – even if still imperfect. Active nations of the Joint Muslim Forces, that were absent in the original version, can now take their part of the job on the Allied right wing.

      The disposition of the strategic nodes has been revised as well to include the added positions of ground troops, and also to re-enact at best the actual swift “left-hook” Allied offensive. On first move, Allied mobile units have opportunities to bypass the Iraqi first lines, and stacked units have several possible axes of attack. Through testing, it seems to work quite efficiently, with a quick collapse of the Iraqi right wing during fixing battles against the tougher, denser and deeper left wing in Kuwait.

      SF2V Air & Ground Expansion Pack v. 2.1 - VPAF Add-On
      ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      This is an add-on package for the "Strike Fighters 2: Vietnam Air & Ground Expansion Pack v. 2.1" available at CombatAce. This add-on makes most major aircraft of the Vietnamese People's Air Force (VPAF) flyable with custom third-party cockpits and avionics. It also contains "Red" versions of the three main SF2V campaigns, allowing you to fly VPAF MiGs against opposing USAF, USN, & USMC aircraft.

      This add-on package is designed to be applied over the top of an existing installation of version 2.1 of the Expansion Pack with the latest update package applied. You can download the four main Expansion Pack files here:

      Part 1:

      Jan. 2012 Update:
      http://combatace.com/files/file/10466-sf2v-air-ground-war-expansion-pack-v20-jan-2012-update/

      You should have the latest updates for the Expansion Pack before applying this add-on package.

      Please take a look over the remainder of this ReadMe before installing the update.

      ~~~~~~~~~~~~
      Installation
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~

      The installation process has two phases: one for the main add-on files; a second for optional aircraft.

      Here's how to apply this update package:

      1. Ensure that SF2V is properly installed & updated.

      2. Ensure that the Expansion Pack v. 2.1 (Mar. 2010) is installed to your SF2V Mod Folder
      and that the latest update package for the Expansion Pack is applied.

      3. Unpack SF2V_AG-XP_v2_VPAF.7z to a safe place on your drive.

      4. Drag and drop all the files and folders from within the \To_Mod_Folder to your SF2V Mod Folder, overwriting as prompted.

      5. Now open the \Optional directory, which contains different versions of the MiG-17 and MiG-17PF. Note that what you install from the \Optional directory is determined by whether or not your SF2V installation also includes Strike Fighters 2: Europe (SF2E) as part of a "merged install."

      - MiG-17PF

      The original Expansion Pack supplies two different versions of the MiG-17PF. By default a third-party "mod" version was installed. Optionally, users with installations that included SF2E could replace the "mod" version with the stock 3rdWire version.

      The \Optional directory in this add-on package contains updated files for both versions. (Hint: the third-party "mod" version is identified in-game as the MiG-17PF Fresco-E; the stock 3rdWire verison is identified as the MiG-17PF Fresco-D.)

      Choose the version that you have installed, and apply the updated files for that version to the \Objects\Aircraft directory in your SF2V Mod Folder, overwriting as prompted.

      - MiG-17

      The original Expansion Pack supplies a substitute, optional version of the MiG-17 for those using installations that do not include SF2E.

      If you installed this optional/substitute version of the MiG-17 (because your install lacks SF2E), then apply the updated files for that version to the \Objects\Aircraft directory in your SF2V Mod Folder, overwriting as prompted.

      (If your install includes SF2E, then you do not need to install the updates for the substitute version of the MiG-17, as you're using the original 3rdWire version available in SF2E.)

      That's it. You should be good to go.

      The project with renewing Mannerheims Shield has become slightly larger then I first anticipated; and I wanted to give you guys my reasons behind this. First of all, I worked for the original Mannerheims Campaign for several months, often awaiting skins or aircraft. At some points, I became stressed to release the campaign, when I was supposed to be thinking to make it good. I say with full honesty that I am ashamed about Campaign in Mannerheims Shield, and that I somewhat wasted the assets I was given.

      I do not think it is bad, but a few missions naval battles that was not properly thought out; you guys deserved better; simply put. You deserved my original vision of a great, grand Viking Total War.

      Then SF2: NA came out and we got all these new good toys, and I decided to learn how to use them; resulting in the above mentioned patches. So it is time to make the last vision come true. It will not be entirely the same of course, but it will be interesting still.

      And here it is. In my full, honest opinion - This is a Viking Total War worthy of the Aircraft and skins my team provided.
