    1. SF2 WW2 ETO Boulton Paul Defiant Remod Pak

-- Something for the WW2 ETO players --
      = For SF2 ONLY, Full-4/5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

This is a reissue of Veltro2K's Defiant 'turret fighter'. It has been reskinned/redecaled and had some tweeking done.
The skin is in jpg format, and has all new plane-in-group letter and serial numbers (historically acurate for Defiant Mk.1s, but representative of no particular unit). The squadron code represent No. 264 Squadron. There are some issues with this skin, as I couldn't quite figure out the mapping at the rear fuselage camo/sky unders parting line. To that end, the Home Grown ™ template is included for any another skinners wishing to give it a try.
Engine sounds, pilot figures, BRAND new Hangar and Loading screens (in SF2 jpg format) are included.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! PLEASE read the "Notes" section for the change list, and other important notations. Also, the Legal Statement has been changed with regards to this aircraft.
For those that still have the original releases, you may wish delete the aircraft and decals folders for them; this pak is desinged to replace them in total.

**These aircraft herein are released in "AS IS" Condition. The source files have been lost, and there can and WILL be no modifications to the physical model. They 'are as they is' and you must accept them with this caveat in mind. Any and all issues/problems that cannot be solved via ini edits will exist forever, as new models are unlikely to be created**

    2. SF2 WW2 DH Mosquito NF.II Pak

      -- Something for the WW2 ETO/MTO players --

      = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged ( Full-5 Reccomended/Preferred) =

*There is a possibility that this mod may work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. However due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment, not all features will be avaliable.*

Mods to Pasko's Mosquito (and of my NF.XII), create the eariler NightFighter/Intruder version, in this case, the NF.II.

Like the other Mossies I've re-released, a new (mostly) SF2 compliant FM was created. As per usual, fine tuning of the FM by experts is requested.
Sounds, pilot figures -including the FakePilot and Radar 'bow & arrow" antennas- and weapons (ok, the drop tanks) are included, as is a new SF2 "Box Art" style Hangar screen.

Skins/Decals included in this set are:

No.157 Squadron, in overall "Night" circa 1942
No.141 Squadron, in 1943-ish Sea Gray/Dark Green, Night unders

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Also, as mentioned, the "Notes" section for other stuff of interest.

*This mod is being released in an "as is" condition; PLEASE see the Notes section for more info. Also, take note the Legal Notice has had a small modification.*

    3. SF2 WW2 ETO Photo-Recon Spitfires Pak 7/28/2013

-- Something for the WW2 ETO players --

      = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

**SF2:E Expansion Pak 2 =REQUIRED= to get the Spitfire 9c**

This pak contains 2 versions of Photo Recon Spitfires as used in the ETO in WW2. By inference, the PR.XI may also have been used in other theatres, MTO and/or PTO (CBI), but research has not turned up any confirmations of CBI usage.

      Inside you'll find:

      Spitfire FR.IXC (based on the 3W 9c)

      Spitfire PR.XI (based on TMF/MM Mk.VIII)

The PR.XI comes with 2 skins, one tagged (genericlly) for 1 PRU squadron, although research has shown they were also used by No.541 and/or No. 542 Squadrons. The other for the 17th PRS, 7th PRG of the US 8th AF. Serial numbers for the AAF skin are 100% historically accurate.

The 2 RAF skins serials are more 'generic' in nature. All aircraft are finished in PRU Blue (FS matched as close as possible).
The PR.IX uses all decals for marking; the PR.XI has the national markings painted on, but serials are decals.

In game, on the Aircraft Selection Drop-Down you'll them listed as:

      Spitfire FR.IX (3W)

      Spitfire PR Mk.XI (TMF)

This will diferentiate them for any/all other PR Spitfire that may exist.

The FR.IXC, by it's very name, retains all it's fighter armament, and 'carries' only the the single oblique camera. The PR.XI is completly unarmed, but retains (non-historically) it's cockpit gunsight.

The canopy is activated via the Standard Animation Keystroke ™, Shift/0
Weapons (drop tanks), pilot figures (included 'fake pilot' center pylon for the PR.XI) and the AvHistory Merlin sound are included.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.

    4. SF2 WW2 DH TigerMoth by RussoUK

      -- Something for Anyone --

      = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

A new version of the DH Tigermoth, as seen in WW2 and the immeadiate post-war time frames.
This version now has (at no extra charge!!) bump mapping! There are 2 lods included; the one
set for use now has more subtle bumpping; the other a bit LESS subtle.

2 skins are inlucded, slightly revamped (read: partly repainted), and now with individual
Plane-in-group numbers/letters and serial number decals for:

"Camo": standard RAF day trainer scheme (I guess!); darkearth/green/yellow unders
"Silver": post-war, silver doped, from University of London Air School (iirc)

Most of the markings are painted on, with the exception of the Silver skin. All decals
positions have been plotted, which will make it easier for End Users that wish to, to create
other countries markings. A new Userlist.ini is included (for the most popular users, not
      all are listed).
An SF2 version of my original 'box art' hangar is included, in jpg format.
The partial template is also included. It's in the main aircraft folder for other skinners
      to 'have at it'.
This will give your fledgling flyers something to practice in. And it's a nice change to
just buzz around the countryside with, every once and a while.

**Note: this version is designed to REPLACE any/all previous versions!!**

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please
read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.

    5. SF2 WW2 ETO Hawker Typhoon Mk.1B (DAT)

      = For SF2 (Full4/5 Merged RECCOMENDED!)

**This mod -MAY- work in 1stGen game installs. But this has not/cannot be tested by me.**

This pak contains mods for the Dev A-Teams Hawker Typhoon IB as seen in the ETO
This is a semi-complete aircraft mod, and as per DAT directives, the aircraft lod is =NOT= included. So, those users that cannot access the DAT downloads, you're advised to skip this, as it's of no use to you. Everything else is included (pretty much!).
Those users with access, =WILL= be transfering the lod from a seperate DAT download of the Hawker Typhoon IB.

This mod has been built and tested with the...

      Typhoon-R11.lod (dated 8/3/2005

from their WW2 Aircraft Downloads section.

This pacakge contains the (almost) complete aircraft, and two skins.
      You'll have:

      No. 175 Squadron (code HH)
No. 609 Squadron "West Riding" (code PR)

The skins are completly new, from my Home Grown Template ™, and remains in bmp format. New decals were created for Squadron Code letters, serials, plane-in-group letters and others.
The serials are pooled, and are 'generic' in nature, as they represent no particular aircraft within the unit(s) depicted, but ARE for the model variant represented. Colors are FS matched as close as possible. When possible, the Squadron Crest is used for the 'paint chip' on the loadout screen.
All fuselage markings are decals (wing roundels remain painted on); this will allow super easy creation of other squadrons by simply creating a new SCode or **(2letter) decal, and decal randomization is set to TRUE.

My 1stGen original "Box Art" style Hangar and/or Loading screens have been rebuilt to SF2-spec for this package. They are in jpg format. Damage textures are new, in DDS format.
Also included, is a new drop tank, by Raven, with a built in pylon (as it's missing from the aircraft model itself). See Notes for more on loadouts.
The rockets and guns you should already have, so they are NOT included.
The canopy has been switched to the Standare Manual Animation Keystroke ™, Shift/0.
The FM may need further small adjustments (ok, maybe more than a little...).

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!!
All the original DAT readmes are included, for historical and ownership/copyright purposes.
It is HIGHLY suggested you unzip this archive FIRST, and READ the install instructions BEFORE installing this mod. So you know EXACTLY what to do..

    6. Seafire MkIII (Modified), No.1 Sqn, Irish Air Corps, 1947 - 1955

      Completely new version.

The Irish Air Corps bought 12 Seafires in 1947; these were denavalised by removing the 'hook' and at least in most cases, locking the wing-fold joints. They were numbered from 146 to 157. There is still considerable debate among the Irish aviation historians as to the precise colour used; they were clearly painted overall with a greenish-grey shade, possibly MAP Light Slate Grey. No detailled information is available.

I have included the serials for the 6 Spitfire T.MkIX aircraft also acquired by the Irish Air Corps, in order to make up a suitable minimum number of decals. These go from 158 to 163.

For use ONLY with SF2 including the Israel Expansion Pack. This will NOT work if you do not have the stock TW Spitfires installed and working.

    7. Spitfire MkVb, VCS-7, US Navy, 5th - 26th June 1944.

Because of the high vulnerability of the SOC and OS2U spotter aircraft normally carried on board US Navy cruisers and battleships, it was felt that naval artillery spotters during the landings in Normandy would need aircraft better able to defend themselves against German fighters. As a result, 17 pilots were drawn from the cruisers CA 31 Augusta, CA 37 Tuscaloosa, CA 71 Quincy and the battleships BB 33 Arkansas, BB 35 Texas and BB 36 Nevada; they were affected to the Air Spotting Pool, based at RNAS Lee-on-Solent, along with two RAF Spitfire squadrons, Nos. 26 and 63, and four FAA Seafire squadrons, Nos.808, 885, 886 and 897.

      VCS-7 became operational on 28th May 1944.

During operations, all aircraft were pooled, which meant that in fact, any pilot from any of the seven Spitfire/Seafire units could find himself flying any Spitfire or Seafire available, regardless of any theoretical 'ownership'. As a rule, aircraft operated in pairs, one spotting, the other covering.

After three weeks of highly successful operations, VCS-7 was stood down on 26th June as the fighting moved beyond the range of the ships' guns.

As they were on temporary loan from the RAF, all the aircraft used by VCS-7 retained their RAF markings.

For use ONLY with SF2 including the Israel Expansion Pack. This will NOT work if you do not have the stock TW Spitfires installed and working.
