I really need help with this

so, i have been playing SF2 for like 2 years now and i still dont know why when i select a laser guided weapon (like LGBs or Maverics) my fps drop to 2-6 while in normal flight its like 20+ fps
if someone knows how to solve this problem or any mod that solve it i would really appreciate it

give us a few more parameters bud. what terrain, stock or modded weapons, internal or external view, game graphic settings (high low or medium)

on just a few run throughs i couldnt get a drop in fps, let alone down to single digits. stock F-4D on several terrain test, stock GBU12

I think Menrva discussed this in another thread, but I've forgotten where exactly, so I can't provide a specific link.

In short, he analyzed that this only appears in modded TGP view.

Actually, I've also encountered a similar problem (I haven't tried to reproduce this with stock aircraft and weapons, but it does occur with mods), and I don't know why either.

well ive tried it with menrva libya map, irak, and yugoslavia/serbia map, with the f-15e model of lying monster, and i dont know who modded the gbu-10 but i know its modded
the one with less lag was the serbia map and some range map i downloaded

how about your computer specs???? Maybe you're running out of memory? Power supply issues? Overheating???
