Sorry, but how do I do that?

You open the data.ini of the aircraft, and go to weapons stations and edit the rails (You'll see LoadLimit, width, etc.) on each pylon, so you gotta look at the diameter of the missile and adjust the pylon accordingly.

I see LoadLimit, but width isn't there. Is it perhaps Max and MinExtentPosition?

No sorry I'm going off of memory, should be diameter or something like that, sorry about that. And Length as well.

I only see LoadLimit, could I make the length, diameter, etc myself? Or would that break it?

No, SF2 is a bit forgiving, but once you look at the Sparrow that you want, you edit the pylon to match it and it should load. I mean it's going to clip but I don't think that's a concern though.

Yeah, I'm just trying to get eight sparrows on my phantom just because. So as I understand it I just make LaunchRailHeight, width and length?

Height you don't have to worry about, just the width and length. They should mount "properly": without messing with the height though. And don't forget LoadLimit, it has to have the ability to carry it and such.

For some reason it still doesn't allow me to mount Sparrows, I already proportioned the length and width.

Okay weird, maybe its the nation? Maybe the issue or export might be affecting it.

Well, I changed the 9J to be a SARH and immediately it wasn't available on the sidewinder rails and instead it was available where the Sparrows would be, I guess the sidewinder rails are hardcoded to not allow SARHs?

I'll step in for a secon and ask why

historically, the Phantom could carry a max of 6  Sparrows.  the four underfuslage and two under the pylons where  the Winders normally go

But they did not carry both Sparrow and Winders underwing, it was one or the other.

i dont recall if stock allows Sparrows on the inboard pylons (i doubt it) but i do recall that several folks have modded an inboard Sparrow station

----------------------------------

as to your issue, go look atthe F-15E data ini. maybe a E_92 rahter than the base one from '89. that should have underwing stations that allow IRM and SAHM (i think that AIM-120 classes as a SAHM?). compare notes, and boost values for Sparrow as needed.
