I know the trick for dual AMRAAM racks is allowing 2AR in weapon types, but having tried once before, I don't think there are triple racks, but... there's an F-16 with CFTs that I think would look awesome with triple AMRAAM racks, so was wondering if it's not a thing, if I overlooked it, or if it's activated with some variant of TER/MER

well, triple AAM launch rails arent really a thing IRL, so i doubt anyone's really worked on them in game. HOWEVER....

using APKWS (laser guided Zuni rockets) against drones has very much become a thing. you hang three pods of 7 rockets under each wing, and suddenly have the potential to take out 42 drones (plus however many AAMs and gun ammo you got)

there is no laser guided AAMs. but the weapon guruus could think up a way to mount 42 IRMs on a rocketpod "pylon"

I would think that the game engine would have to support it too, not so much just a 3D mesh. I mean 2AR is allowed because the game "recognizes" that type of rack. So you can't just introduce (Unless somebody like Eagle114th does some magic) a new rack and the game actually go with it too.

No i do not think so. Perhaps you can make something to work as... If you have 3d mesh for 3 missiles..but in data.ini you have work around the problem. In KLu 104 I have added a training rocket/bomb dispenser...It is not supported in-game to have a rocket launcher - bomb rack together...but it is possible to make it work - In a way.  You, just need to think out of the box...

I think someone did a missile rack for three. It was a part of some mod...not sure when, why, and where.

We did not try to do this in some old jets? Aerial FFARs? Scorpion Sabre Dog.....I think it turned out quite ineffective. But maybe a new, fresh approach....

6.5 minutes of work.  Pulling mesh from F-22....I was already distracted by some random post in the topic that we thought was already long gone, forgotten, and solved... but no...

But I am telling you. This is more of ini work than a model. 

Now, now. Check if it works, and is ok. Then contact me...and I will re-assign the bitmap and export again... for now, it is not mapped properly, therefore can not be used that way.

i thought the answer to the Sabre Dog wound up being making it a gun with FFAR bullets. but that would match the accuracy of that system, vs laser guided rockets now i would think

i also thought there was a rocket pod/fuel tank in one of the Mirage DLCs, making what you did a little easier to work

We figured that the best way is to give it a stock Royal Lightning inis. Then your wingman will actually engage. The efficiency of aerail FFAR is another questionable thing - in-game and in real life...

was just messing around with the landing gear...and got distracted by an old topic on CA....

But as I said. I will upload the proper lod when this one is checked.
