Is it possible to allow Helos to actually aim their guns?

I've seen flexible gun mounts as tail gunners, but flying Dels' Comanche made me wonder, can you make the autocannon actually aim at its targets on helos? Or do flexible gun mounts not work for player-controlled weaponry?

Not possible, I'm afraid, game engine limitation. The game never supported helicopters, they exist with many workarounds as mods.

Air targets will be automatically engaged, but ground targets will be always ignored.
