+Dave Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 Gerald Did you get permission to use the Desert Storm terrain from me? Quote
Guest capun Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 Same statement applies to any model that you plan to include in the package. Creating a custom loadout.in or skin is not the problem. the problem is if you include the whole model package (LOD's) that was someone else's work. Most people will have no problems if you ask and if the end product is not a commercial package. Quote
+Crusader Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 F-104 (German) ..........lol .... no way.. F-18A Kiwant ...........bought by Kuwait after the war.... Su-27 (If it comes out??) ...not in Iraqi service F-4 SkyHawk .......what ? .... A-4's were out of US service for a long time then ... Su-15 ...not in Iraqi service ... Quote
+Soulfreak Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 1st you should ask everyone who did a skin, Aircraft, object, terrain etc, if they give you permission to use his (hers) stuff!! ;) Quote
Toryu Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 The A-4 Skyhawk was Kuwait's fighter during the DS-time. Quote
+FOTF Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 DUde! Sweet! THose F-4 SKyhawks were awesome!!! Way better than the crappy A-4 Quote
Stwa Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Gerald Did you get permission to use the Desert Storm terrain from me? He could probably just leave the terrain out of his pack, and just have users download it seperately. This might be the best thing to do. Quote

+Dave Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 this sound stupid but could u put it in zip or exe format i hate when sweet tihngs r in rar download winrar. The reason we all use as it compresses better, thus making files smaller. Quote
Aintry Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 (edited) Try: http://www.tucows.com/Windows/IS-IT/FileMa...ssionUtilities/ I recommend 7-zip. Edited July 19, 2006 by Tristan Quote
evant Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 k i got that but i try to x-tract and it wont import it Quote
Aintry Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 (edited) Hmmm. I just right-clicked on a mod compressed to .rar format, selected 7-zip from the menu options, chose 'Extract Here', and 7-zip opened the file just fine. Edited July 19, 2006 by Tristan Quote
Jarink Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 I use and recommend Zip Genius, because it works with several different compressed file types (including .zip, 7z ans rar), integrates nicely with Windows Explorer and is free. Zip Genius Website Quote
