+Dave Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 Airbus A310 by Florian "AmokFloo" Schneider View File Airbus A310 Addon for Strike Fighters Project 1 --------------------------------------------------------------------- Explanation: ------------------ This *.zip file contains two folders, called "A310" and "A310z". The first "A310" is the Airbus A310 MRTT (Multi Role Transport Tanker) of the German Air Force. Its equipped with one Refuel pod on each wing tip. The second folder "A310z" is the civil Airliner version of the A310, without the refueling pods. IMPORTANT!!! Both aircraft are only set up as AI planes, because there is no support for transport missions by the player. Both are just a little addon to color the skies of Strike Fighters. If you wish to steer one of those, simply add to the "A310.ini" or "A310z.ini" the following lines: CockpitDataFile=F-100D_cockpit.ini HangarScreen=F-100D_hangar.bmp Installation: ---------------- Unzip both folders included in this *.zip file to your "Strike-Fighters\Objects\Aircraft" folder. If you wish to steer one of those, simply add to the "A310.ini" or "A310z.ini" the following lines: CockpitDataFile=F-100D_cockpit.ini HangarScreen=F-100D_hangar.bmp ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I hope you enjoy the chance, to practice in air refueling. ;-) Florian "AmokFloo" Schneider Submitter Dave Submitted 04/06/2007 Category Multi Engined Aircraft Quote
+Dave Posted April 6, 2007 Author Posted April 6, 2007 Is air refuelling even really possible? No, but you can practice. Quote
+whiteknight06604 Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 No comment. No comment on the no comment Quote
Guest Saganuay82 Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 No comment LOL. Maybe someone like Flanker can write up a tutorial on how to fly into position for air to air refueling. These things can't pass gas but its not very freaking easy to get behind a drouge and hang there. So practice is the work and lots of it. So it would be really nice like one of the real mil pilots who fly / have flown air to air refuel to tell us sim pilots about procedures of moving into position and who tells who to do what. What do you guys tell the tanker when you get there to them? Quote
gerald14 Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 I tried to refuel a F-15E with this aircraft but my tail boom broke off and crash with the F15E and went down in flames!!!!! Quote
Guest Saganuay82 Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Tail boom on a A310? No. Only 2 drouges. Interesting story...got pics? Quote
gerald14 Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 I mean to say the drouges, sorry but it was so funny i forgot to took pics of it next time if i happens to me!!!!! Quote
Guest Saganuay82 Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 OK, so you were flying the F-15 and ran into the drouges? Quote
gerald14 Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 yeah, pretty much!!!! LOL but some how the aircraft hit it's airbrakes and run it to it's wings and drouges Quote
Guest Saganuay82 Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Ah OK. Very hard when you only have a stick to fly with vice those fancy fandangled things I see in another thread. As seen here. http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid=-6695910521392308578 Quote
