TurtleHawk Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 Sad news indeed. There are no coincidences; I was sitting in the waiting room at Scripps Green Hosp. a couple of weeks ago. The nurse called for Walter Schirra, and my heart skipped a beat. I thought, no way, and there he was sitting right across from me. I even said to my sweetie, I bet that's the astronaut. I'm a bit sorry I didn't ask him, and thank him for inspiring my dreams as a young boy in the '60s and 70s. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Quote
