Atreides Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 Could someone PLEASE provide with a list of LGB's of Soviet/Russian origin, I'm using the latest weapons pack and the editor and was only able to find a few that were LGB's for use on the MIG-21 and MIG-27D. Did the Soviet's generally tend to not use LGB's that often and therefore did not have a wide range of them available ? TIA. Quote

SayethWhaaaa Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 I know the VVS was in the process of increasing production of precision guided munitions and they had quite a sizable supply of conventonal weapons. I know it was their intention to emulate the US services in having a predominantly PGM based arsenal and also for the healthier Russian market for Russian arms. There were articles in AFM/Air international and one at the Jane's site that stated they were developing PGM mod kits and GPS kits too. But I can't seem to find those pages any more. Quote

Wrench Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 I'd reccomend getting a copy of Yefrim Gordon's book "Soviet/Russian Aircraft Weapoons since WW2". A superb work, with detailed photos, drawings, specs, etc. Covers EVERYTHING that could hang a harpoint. I have a copy! On pdf Wrench kevin stein Quote
