My first rework "what if?" IAI-27"Killer"

is my first rework on a plane to make everybody download it!

 

Now is on approval on modern era session IAI-27 came out after 3 days of work,God bless I'm on holiday!

 

This is what I'm talking about:

 

BACKGROUND:

 

 

 

On the beginning of January 2004 Syrian Air Force, received in secret from China a Sukhoi 27 to evaluate it for the future replacement of their Mig 23.

 

During it's second disarmed test flight, that plane and it's pilot for a sudden error -he said after came back to Syria- was flying over Israel airspace.

 

In a few minutes to F 15 of the IAF scrambled and reached the hostile.

 

15 minutes later the Su 27 escorted by the Eagles made a forced landing on the nearest airbase.

 

Israeli engineers and Air Force personnel began to study that big bird.

 

In attempt of the delivery of the first F 22 Raptor, after the Us declarations about the plane export outside American territory only in that middle eastern country.

 

Japanese asked Us government to have it, but Americans said only Israel.

 

Japan moved to F 2 project.

 

So came back near Mount Zion! Israeli found in that plane the real gap-stopper 'til re Raptor's debut.

 

Problem was product it in that country.

 

Kfir was a tought in the beginning, after was a very young lion!

 

They've tried to do the same.

 

Powerplant, armament, electronics came from the F 15 suite.

 

In the middle of 2006 the debut.

 

Pilots are enthusiast of that plane, they said: "It' seem an Eagle dressed like a Flanker, but is much better!"

 

They're right.

 

The new plane carries the same Raytheon AN/APG 70 Synthetic aperture radar, the same avionics, later reworked, an AN/ALR 56A ECM Jammer, the flare launchers was the same only western cartridges replace the original.

 

The powerplant is made by a total conversion of the two Pratt & Whitney F100 PW 220 put them on the original AL 31 and much better, now that engine is equipped by a thrust vector nozzle that gaves astonishing performances

 

at all flight level.

 

After a modifications of the spars, now also both the inner wings and centerline pylons are strengthened to gave the inner wing pylon abilty of carryng 1000lbs payloads.

 

The fixed armament is now an M 61/A1 6 barrelled 20mm Vulcan Cannon, and for the launch component normally on air to air missions they bring 6 AIM-120 c AMRAAM and 4 AIM-9X Sidewinder.

 

Plus like all of the western ASM's, LGB's and AGM's for attack/antiship Missions or all missions that a multirole fighter can do, and he do a great job for his duty.

 

On the August of 2007 the 1st Fite and the 1st Jet began operative with the new fighter, and USAF,USN and Italy also look at it the First two to replace the aggressor fleet and Italian Air Force to put it near the Typhoons waiting the first operative F 35. The IAI 27 Killer was born.

Noooo! A Flanker in IDF/AF colours...? Such blasphemy!! Very nice skin though. I noticed you've got the afterburners vecotored down on a sharp angle. Have you had any success with them vectoring up?
