Dutch East Indies aircraft

Hey guys,

 

Forgive me if the planes look like dogs, but it's my first try in making a few

after-WWII skins for some planes in Dutch service!

Just want to know what you think, and if someone can provide some decent

photographs of these variants. I would also want to know if there is someone who can provide me

with fonts for WP and NATO serial numbers?!

Looking good, but maybe try somewhat smaller roundels on the P40 and P51 fuselages.

Not too bad!

 

Definatley shrink the roundel size. The P-40E also has a 'warpage' issues on the fueleage, you'll probably want to do code/roundel as a single decal. Like I told scrapper, there's a BEYOND superb template for that over as simmerspaintshop...

 

Same goes for the Mustang, it's more work to start with, but it looks better in the long run using decals (depending on weathering, of course)

Also the tip USAFTML told me was to adjust the opacity to 85% to give a painted on look.
