New or redone Weapons Pack

Recommended Posts

Hey guys! :hi:

I might be asking the impossible:

Who is able/willing to do a complete new/updated Weapons Pack?

I mean, the standard WP is fine, but with all additions, changes and such

it has become a big hustle to make a good total package.

So... Is there anyone who can merge the existing packs together including

such things as MiG-17PF/PFU nose, MiG-P/PM nose and fuel tanks?? Or is there

someone who has this already very complete??? :blush2:

Maybe an upload of this package ("Weapons" folder and Weapondata files)

is possible to share with those who are not geniuses in using Editor software or updates??!!

Will be hugely appreciated if someone will put it in the Weapons Mods/Skins folder on

this site or (if not possible to put on the site) e-mail it to me... :good:

Thaks!

Instead of posting it here on the board you might send it to me by e-mail??

Guest Sony Tuckson

might be quite heavy for emails

Weapons pack are a way to avoid ini editing, but by the open nature of the game, they become obsolote they day they are released

Looking at it, it is quite sad, as nobody could ever release the ultimate Weaponspack

On the other side, it's good because it's living proof the game is still alive as new addons keep going

That person is called "the end user". The allows you, depening on the type of install you plan to use it in, make the choice of what to add. Obviously, I'm not going to add the Talos missile to my WW2 installs

MiG-17PF/PFU nose,

You know they're already in the pack, right???? My 19P/PM noses are just mods of those.

Personally, I'd love to see it revamped...it's quite bloated with all the 'dummy' or training rounds. They alone must add over a hundred weapons types.

Then, of course, there's all those nation-specific weapons to be found in the Loadout Thread in the knowledge base...I must have added a couple of dozen weapons for the "not US/Western and Soviet" users -- like Iran and India for example

Plus upgrades or mods of existing weapons to 'improve' their capabilities (case in point: the S-5AA unguided rocked for the 17PF, and upcoming 17PF (SP-16) re-release. Or the tweeked Mighty Mouses (Mousi?) for the Scropion; or the 'jammer fix' for the aforementiond Mig noses and Skyhawk humps

The list goes on....

But like Sony said, it 'proof of life' for the sim!
