the really sad part, speaking of Spitfires, is that 60 years from now, there will not be a flying Tomcat...it will be impossible since they are either gutted and skewered or crushed in order to prevent the Iranians from getting a piece

 

so if there is a memorial flight program in the future, how sad that the only way we will ever watch Tomcats fly now is on TOP GUN with Tom Cruise

For me, the saddest part is that, Iran notwithstanding, it's a real shame that no one else bought them, or considered using them...
