Miracles Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 (edited) I'm wondering is there a full add-on mods for either Mig-15 or Mig-17 or Mig-19? Many of the add-on planes in the download section doesn't contain pictures or any useful information stating whether the file contains a full new pit What I mean by full is that with wholly new cockpit model and textures of course. Wanna see how these pits look like and how it feels to fly them Edited January 29, 2008 by Miracles Quote
Aintry Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 (edited) There are no custom pits available for the planes you are interested in. Those planes use pits from other aircraft. Edited January 29, 2008 by Tristan Quote

Ouch too bad I wonder why nobody made them? Oh well thanks Tristan Any other full AC add on worth downloading for WoV setting? I know about the F-104 and F-5 any other planes? I just don't want to miss any great plane add-on. Quote

The razbam skyraiders are pretty fun. www.razbam.org then check the A/C download section for updated data files. Quote
Aintry Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Ouch too bad I wonder why nobody made them? Pits are among the hardest things to model, so there is a big shortage of people willing to do pit work. Quote
Viggen Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Pits have been known to cause modders to have a sudden loss of hair or appitite. And those are mearly the NATO pits. Soviet pits would likely make them play Russian Roulet with an automatic pistol. Quote

Czech6 Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Look in the download section here at CA under cockpits. There are some made to use in the Russian aircraft that are pretty good. Also, you can download other Russian aircraft that have new pits and try using them in the MiG's (if you can read their gauges). Quote
Viggen Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Easiest thing to do is get the Su-27, Paladrin's MiG-21 pit and the Su-17 pit and you should be fine. Gerald14 and Kuklino have been makeing some mods to existing pits as well. Quote
Miracles Posted January 29, 2008 Author Posted January 29, 2008 Thanks I'll check out the Su-27 later but it would be kind of weird since I'm playing WoV which is in the Vietnam era. Would be a kind of cheating to fly the Flanker LOL. I already got all the Mig version with their unique cockpits of course and the Su-15 and Su-7. Downloading the latest patch now to get the weaponspack to work. Quote
sparkomatic Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Not certain by what you mean in that it does not have the information...as far as I have seen, files with dedicated cockpits announce same...it may require you to read... Quote
kukulino Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 (edited) As you can see, there are original cockpits for Mig-21s made by Paladrian, Su-15 by Boopidoo, and Su-17 by Armourdave in SFP1 serries. But we have some good ways how edit existng pits, and make them closer to different pit in different aircraft. Here are some links: The famous Lexx_Luthors work: http://bbs.thirdwire.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=4410 Russian cockpits for 50's/60's planes discusion: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=23359&hl Mig-23 HUD topic - editing Mig-21MF cockpit: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showt...amp;hl=cockpits And there are two Mig-23 cockpits (ex Mig-21MF) edited according upper link, and uploaded in Download section by Gepard: MiG-23MK carrierborne Flogger ---- http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autom...p;showfile=5532 flyable stock MiG-23M for WOE ---- http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autom...p;showfile=5526 You can use them in this campaign for example (for WOV): If you do not want be a chaeter, download this campaign - Vietnam 1984 1.1 + Vietnam 1984 Quick Update: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autom...p;showfile=1975 http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autom...p;showfile=5289 (Try friends or librarys or internet cafes. There is nothing to stop us ) There are modern machines in Vietnam 1984, and you can add there Su-27, or there is Mig-29 and you can use Su-27 pit for it. Here is topic about "adapting" Su-15 cockpit for Su-7. It is not finished for this time: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=24668 BTW, this cockpit is very good for Il-28 too. AND, man, there was new Mig-21F-13 Flight Model made by my friend gerald14 here over CA. But it is not available for this time. This is from its read me file: "The FM is the same as the real aircraft in life. I read dozens of Mig-21 books and manuals and the over sites and it is the same as the real Mig-21F-13 [...] This Aircraft is for people who fly for a long time. Not for Beginners..." You are big Mig fan, as I can see. So try drop PM to gerald14. Maybe he will send you his Mig-21F-13 flight model  AND there are another great flight models for Migs by Fubar512: Mig-17 ----- http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autom...p;showfile=5364 Mig-19 FM WIP ---- http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autom...si&img=4315 And more. Just take a look into download section. Edited February 25, 2008 by kukulino Quote
