Just out of curiosity, is there going to be some point in time where you kids actually begin discussing what it's going to take to create this effect??

I mean, c'mon...1 pages of nothing but nothing. Over 15 views, and no real mention of what needed, and how it's to be done.

Get it on track...or

The latest patch updates have corrected the Vista & DX9 shader compatibility issues.

Cross-chop atop rolling swells, with diffuse and HDR-lighting effects. The next step is planar reflections...

Absolutely exquisite.

Looking forward to it, as the flickeriness of the water glitch in the 2008 update is making my eyes bug out.

now a smal reflection .... and your PC will be on his knees

Not at all, and that's the CV's shadow, not a planar reflection.

To my "captive" beta testers, the file's up and available for testing in the usual location

I know it`s the shadow... did you tested some reflection yet?!

In order to incorporate planar reflections, I'd have to discard the present shader. And, I'm not sure that all the necessary parameters are in place within Thirdwre's graphics engine to allow me to do so. I'd probably have to do something akin to the Enbseries .dl, and that is, to create my own add-on .dll file. That's a lot of work for someone who's not a programmer...

I may have spoken too soon. I was creating a ship wake shader, and accidentally stumbled on to something. look at the bow wake, on either side of the hull, and tell me what you see reflected in it
