Yeah, I'm positive Fly Grrl posted a hotfix for this... gimme a sec.

Thought so, try this. I'm sure I got it working for some non stock aircraft...

thank you ,,but that just puts them on manual

What about linking an animation in the LOD to the landing gear, "OPEN_ON_GROUND" only?

No, wait, that won't work....they'd pop open as soon as the wheels touched. never mind.... :rolleyes: disregard previous statement.. :crazy:

You just might have to make it manual, like the others. Most folks won't really mind, I'm sure.

Has anyone found a fix for this besides disabling the canopies or putting them on Manual ??

Putting them on manual is really the best way to do it. The most realistic, since canopies don't open and close automatically. :wink:

Plus operationally a number of aircraft such as the F-16 require the canopy to be closed before engine start to aviod FODing the engine and causing expensive repair/replacement if something falls from the cockpit.

Setting[1].DeployValue=15.0

Setting[1].RetractValue=20.0

MinDeflection=0.0

Try that..it might work...if you want canopies that auto close...
