Calling all ex-DBS 2 3-D modelers....

When Major Lee started the project for DBS 2, we had our own seperate forum, where a lot of VERY cool stuff made by some VERY talented people made its appearences.

 

Well, I'm reworking the original DBS, adding some new targets, fixing the post-patch terrain issues, and such like. I've even gotten "someone" to volenteer to make a new campaign for it. For those 'concerned', YES, there ARE easter eggs. Wadda expect? ... I have a reputation to uphold! And they will show up as "stargetic targets" for Soviet strike missions

 

What I'd like to know, is if those items shown in Secret Forum are at a finished, or nearly finished state where they can be used to enhance the eye candy for this upgrade.

 

If you ground object/terrain objects are complete, or nearly complete, I'd very much like to include them.

 

Please PM me with what you've got, whate state it's in, and if you want me to include it.

I wish I knew...maybe Real Life ™ commitments are keeping him from us.

 

russo: i'm using the stock DBS map, so I'm not sure I can place sub bases. Weren't they further south? Of course, that don't mean I can't slip one it at Provideniya; there's some lovely cliffs in the bay...heheheheheheee

 

who was working on the bouys and the henhouse (although, might be outside the date range I'm shooting for)? CA_Stary or ???? I'll have to recheck the Forum.

Wonderful News! I loved what you did with Israel 2 and DBS is my favorite terrain since i live just south of Tampa. I'm not a 3d model builder but If there is anything i can do to help just ask!

The pens were in cliffs...when I started them ,ken wanted them set in cliffs...the pens were in tunnels...if ken was here we could sort what he wanted...

So, ???? Nothing new has turned up. Sure would have liked to add the lighthouses, harbor bouys, Henhouse radar. I can always issue a 'hot-fix', if needed.

 

The terrain is ready for release (or is it re-release??? ) I just need to finish putting a little polish on a few little things, and complete the readme.

 

If nothing new shows up by Sunday (California time), I'll upload it on Monday.
