Suicide Rocket Airplane

In WW II Japan was working on a Suicide Rocket Airplane ( Yokosuka MXY-7 OKHA ) to hit and destroy

ships.

 

The rocket plane was attached to two Japanese Bombers ( G4m Betty and G8N Renzan Rita ) the bomber would fly close to the target, when the ship was near the Suicide Rocket Airplane was

release then the pilot would guide toward the target when close enough he would fire the Ohka's

rocket engine and guide the missile toward the ship. The bad thing about this mission it was a one

way ( kamikaze ) both pilot and rocket airplane were destroyed.

 

Has anyone been thinking about making a flying Suicide Rocket Airplane for WW II mission. I think it

would make a good mission to shoot down Suicide Rocket Airplanes before they would hit and destroy

ships.

Yah, it's called the "Natter" and it kinda don't work.

 

The only that could possibly be done, is make an Okha as a bomb to be carried by the player Betty. Build a little pilot figure into it , and give it EOGR as a guidence system, and let fly.

 

It's been tried, belive me.

Lets go with the idea making the Yokosuka MXY-7 OKHA a bomb with a EOGR Guidence System attached

to a G4M Betty. Any suggestions on how to make it work.

No, the "Natter" is a object defense plane - not intendet as a suicide plane (but if you look how such a mission should have gone, it looks pretty suicidal...)!
