+MigBuster Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Noticed the issue on a 3rd party F-104C with the shadow coming off the refuelling probe at certain angles as a line - have a pic somewhere - using geforce 7600 - never seen anything like it before the Oct2008 patch - not to say it wasn't happening before though. Cant have my graphics on high they are customised to get some king of fps rate - still after some more mucking around i will probably send tk a post
+SkippyBing Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 If it's a third party aircraft it's caused by a part of the mesh not being closed. It'll probably crop up in a few of the add on aircraft built pre the new shadow system as it wouldn't have shown up.
+Crusader Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 I observed the exact same ray on several old planes, F1EQ, F-111E/F, wpnssgt F-15C/E ... using a GF7600GT vidcard ... old models which have some lod faults
