+ghostrider883 Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Ghostrider, Yep, she's quite the old lady. I've found some nice shots of her in Indian service which are useful for some details. I imagine that keeping her going must be quite a job. The current upgrade would keep her going until 2015 & may be a 3-4 years beyond. But only with a small number(six) of air-worthy of Sea Harriers FRS.51s,which are undergoing upgradation left, I wonder how long will the INS Viraat keep going. By 2015, The Navy would have INS Vikrant & INS Vikramaditya as its two a/c carriers. Quote
+Hinchinbrooke Posted January 17, 2009 Author Posted January 17, 2009 (edited) A few more bits and pieces added, but been pondering details of her island in 1968, some of which are rather obscure........... Edited January 29, 2009 by Hinchinbrooke Quote

SUICIDAL Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 (edited) I love their model ships Hinchinbrook sir. Be very good if they add that they can climb Elevators and moving ... .. You could also add to crew their ships. Let me show you some ADONS place on 25 De Mayo... Saludos MARCOS Edited February 20, 2009 by suicidal Quote
+Hinchinbrooke Posted February 21, 2009 Author Posted February 21, 2009 (edited) Suicidal, Are you using the old 'catapult' trick to place objects on the flight deck............ or something else? Agreed, it would be nice to place all sorts of things........ crew members, tractors, etc........... but then the poly count goes up so much. I'm thinking of putting a few basic tractors, etc., along with my 'stick' crew members on Hermes, when she's done. Edited February 21, 2009 by Hinchinbrooke Quote
+Geezer Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Lovely. Looks good with aircraft on the flight deck. Quote
SUICIDAL Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 (edited) Hinchinbrook No. .. I am sincere I Do not know the old trick of the catapult To put objects on the flight deck ... Are actually placed Adons in the aircraft carrier very similar to the aircraft. but then the poly count goes up so much. I solve the problem of the high use of graphics and other cars without mapping and skins ... I would just put a color and materials for all bace All models are also very low polymères although it may seem otherwise Edited February 21, 2009 by suicidal Quote
