As far as i know, export- variants of the MiG-23

were called MiG-24. For example the East-German MiG-23BN

were called MiG-24 too.

in Literature some MiG-21 (export) versions were called MiG-22....

Sorry, but as far as I know, there never was a Mig-24. A couple of websites list it as the export model but this is wrong, the designation was never used. So, the Dload's Mig-24 may be considered as fictional aircraft only. Nevertheless, it's a good addition.

Ehm. Tja, there was really a MiG-24 and a MiG-22.

When i spent my time in the "Wehrlager" in 1984 one Officer of the LSK had spoken from a MiG-24. It happend because soviet MiG-27 flew regulary over our camp when they came from Brandis AB (i think it was Brandis, but i'm not sure) to fly to their bombing range. I think the designation MiG-24 was an inoffical name for the Flogger fighterbombers. The MiG-22 was also an unofficial designation for the very first MiG-23 planes. They had the complete MiG-21 avionics, no dogteeth on the swingwing and a long engine pipe. One of this birds was used as training unit for technicians in the MTS "Harry Kuhn" Bad Düben (military technical school of the LSK/LV)
