airborne1991 Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Guys, I am in deperate need of help. I recently installed the Singapore Air force model of the F-15e. I followed the SniperXR pod installation procedure. I load the the plane and all I get is a pilot with its legs sticking out from beneath the plane(images attached).I have all the required files installed. What am i doing wrong? P.S. I got some of my lgb's to work last night. It was me not following the proper procedure for dropping them. Thanks to all who helped with that. img00001.bmp Quote
WarlordATF Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Make sure the sniper pods .lod and .bmp files are in the Objects/Aircraft folder with all the pilot files, not in the F-15s folder. I had this problem, i had put the files into the weapons folder by mistake. Hope This Helps! Quote
+EricJ Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 That's actually how to do it, and it worked fine for me. Quote

kct Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 (edited) Hi, Check whether the following files are placed in your Aircraft folder, or not: - SNIPER_POD.LOD - SNIPERPOD - FakePilot.LOD (comes from FastCargo's FakePilot) - CompletelyClear (comes from FastCargo's FakePilot) Then, check this entry in your aircraft_data.ini: [sniperXR] SystemType=PILOT_COCKPIT PilotModelName=FakePilot Position=0,0,0 SeatModelName=SNIPER_POD SeatPosition=-1.220000,0.435000,-1.006000 SeatID=2 EDIT: I got ninja'd. Thanks everyone for remembering what goes. Edited December 12, 2008 by kct Quote

kct Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 (edited) The .ini wouldn't be a problem (floating pilot and the missing pod means that you are not putting the correct files in the right place, since the PilotModelName entry calls out for the FakePilot, and the SeatModelName entry calls out for the pod, in this case). The four files listed in my post is the ones you need to have in your Aircraft folder, not elsewhere, like what the others have said. Edited December 12, 2008 by kct Quote
