+DoctorQuest Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Some of our friends in the UK may have seen this already but being a WWII buff I thought it was a great story... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/416...discovered.html Quote
+ST0RM Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 That shouldnt be auctioned off to a private owner, but purchased by the country and placed on display. As much as I'd love to have it myself, this is something that needs to be shown to everyone. Maybe his diary could be released in book form. Would be an interesting read. That is awesome though! -S Quote
+Wrench Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 The detail, and the overall condition (from what I can see in that one pic) is utterly outstanding!! Agreed, it shouldn't be sold, but placed in a Museaum, where it can be seen and marveled at. Off the top of my head, Duxford or Hendon would be great places for it. Wrench kevin stein Quote
