True... unfortunately the shadow issue is another problem, as it's setup for 1st gen, so you get the "shadow lines" coming from the aircraft, along with the F version, but I'll fix

the decal issue anyways.

But it is nice yes  Although with the fuselage conformal tanks doesn't help with maneuverability but makes it nice because I got longer "legs" for missions.

STORM requested this months ago... and I'm sorry for a delayed response... but its been a bit since I dropped some paint...

I've got four reference shots so far. I'd like to check out more if there's around, if somebody's Google-Fu is better than mine...

Some more work. Got some custom roundels that I'm particularly proud of, and more camo work. Unfortunately the VFA-122 photos are all that I have, as I would like to do that particular aircraft. But however.. since there's no good top views I'm going to just extrapolate and while I will base this one off that, I'll give it another squadron designation and markings.

Thanks but I'm not going to give it VFA-122 markings until I get some more references on the wings and top surfaces... but it's close enough for government work. Just got the major painting done, now to retweak the pattern..

Haven't forgotten... just taking a slight break from this. Got the wing roundels. Normal practice doesn't have them on the wings but I figured it'd be a nice touch anyways... Also added white tail tips.

If you have the model properly unwrapped (that is, no faces mirrored or overlapping in 0-1 space) you can export it as an .obj or .3ds and then run it through xNormal using it for both high/low meshes and get a pretty good occlusion bake if you use a floor and crank the rays up to around 300. I think that'd look pretty good ingame.

Well considering I have the base 3d model, and you're talking alot of stuff I don't know, I can send the file over and you do it?

Or point me to a tutorial on how to do this?

I threw a couple WIP shots on my Facebook, but here's an updated model for the GBU-38 JDAM. I would possibly do the GBU-32, but since FC is working on that (or really being selfish ) I'll leave it alone. But model by Razvan Stanciu, texture WIP by me:

The GBU-32 was planned to be released with the F-15SE...but I could pass it along to KillerBee since he's working on a SF2 weps pack.

In either case, none of my weapon models would be nearly as detailed.

That's okay, I'd definitely still use it alot, a requirement for busting up Afghani homes and sometimes a -38 or -12 doesn't do the job... But I may add it to 331Killerbee's stuff too, as a model update, rather than a true weapon update.

Besides, you do good work man, so I wouldn't sell yourself short :good:
