serverandenforcer Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Just recentl installed this game while it's been sitting in my room for abot 4 - 5 months in the box. Question 1.) Any idea why the intro video would be a bit choppy? Have installed the latest patch. System specs: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+ 1.99 GHz, 3.00 GB of RAM, Windows XP Video Card: GeForce GTX 280, BIOS version: 62.00.1C.00.80, Bus: PCI Express x16, Memory: 1024 MB Question 2.) Any good sites to go to for downloads and can I make my own models for the game (thinking of using my apache for it)? Question 3.) Any folks do any of the online stuff with this game with/without mods?
gumpy Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 What game? There is more than one game on this sight.Throw us a bone man.
serverandenforcer Posted March 2, 2009 Author Posted March 2, 2009 Heh, thought i mentioned that... EE2
+JediMaster Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 AFAIK EE2 is currently not moddable. That's what EECH is for. That said, I have the heavily modded EECH instead of EE2, which looks like it was 2 steps forward compared to the original EECH but 2 steps back compared to what has been done now. Kind of the F4:AF / Free Falcon situation.
HotNess Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 (edited) http://www.eechcentral.com/ I got all my stuff from there, with the new apache and hind cockpits...dont know many who go online..but if you ever want your arse kicked real badly by a woman online..im more than happy to..lol. an like jedi said..eech is way better than ee2..but the ee2 desert operation version is okish fun xx v xx Edited March 3, 2009 by racindriver1
serverandenforcer Posted March 3, 2009 Author Posted March 3, 2009 Ah, great, I got the wrong one then. I guess I'll go out and get EECH then. Might as well find a copy of EEAH while I'm at it.

I'm pretty sure if you install the community "all-mods" package to EECH, you get everything from EEAH. No need to buy EEAH.
Silverbolt Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 hey server, i think the best place to got it answered is in EECH forum at SImhq, arneh is based there. IIRC the EECH models are made with lightwave or maya, if i'm not mistaken.
serverandenforcer Posted March 3, 2009 Author Posted March 3, 2009 Is there a way I can legally purchase a download of EECH? Or do I have to go to Amazon.com and order it for a rip off price of $59.94 (LINK) and wait for the delivery? I don't think it would still be on the shelfs at any stores.
+Gr.Viper Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 None that I know off. Razorworks released EECH engine sources and stopped any sim business long time ago, then they switched to arcade racing games, several months ago they were shut down. So I doubt there will be any re-releases.

arneh Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 A bit late reply, but EECH is now available for download at http://www.gog.com for $5.99. Finally it's easy to find again :-)
