Wraith27 Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 (edited) Anybody works on this bird? I dont remember that whe ever talked about it? Edited March 11, 2009 by CIACHO Quote
+AleDucat Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 I have it's side/top/front views setted up from a long long time, but as no one seems interested I never really started. If someone else can do it's cockpit, I can do the rest of the plane and it's DATA.ini. Quote

+AleDucat Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Yes, I can see that I have all kind of reference pics from both AF and Navy, so it wont took me too much. But you still need to find someone to make the cockpit! If not, you'll have to fly with a lended one (F-18, maybe?), untill I finish two undergoing projects. See you! Quote
lazboy Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 It definetely would make agreat addition to the Sim even with a stand in cockpit and it would be great to evaluate it against its peers. Lazboy Quote
+whiteknight06604 Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 I too would love to see the Tejas in game.I don't know why I just like the look of it.It looks like a "winner" to me.It would be cool to see it in action in the virtual skies. Quote
zmatt Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 I think it has that elegant look to it that makes aircraft like the F-5 so attractive. Its small, simple and effective. I think it would be a great addition. Quote

Probably the F-18's or Gripen's pit would be a good stand in. Actual cockpit picture OF LCA-Tejas PV-3 Quote

lazboy Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 This site would appear to have some of the best close up and detailed photos available of the Tejas that certainly should help with the finer points of the model; http://www.bharat-rakshak.com/media/AeroIn...und+34.jpg.html Lazboy Quote

lazboy Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 For Undercarriage details try this site that is dedicated to the Tejas: http://www.lca-tejas.org/cad%20pictures.html http://www.lca-tejas.org/artwork.html http://www.bharat-rakshak.com/IAF/Info/Air...as-Radiance.pdf It would appear that the undercarriage has undergone several evolutions during the development of the Tejas in order to lighten it, originally it was also intended to use an off the shelf undercarriage but that never came to pass so an indiginous one was developed.
