Well, you can always fire short, controlled, accurate bursts. "Spraying & Praying" is not the way to go....either in this sim, or in real life.

But if you do like to "Spray and pray" You can go to options and check weapon dificulty to put it on easy...right?

If I remember correctly the Oct 2008 patch put in gun reliability as a factor, so it's now possible for your gun to jam up.

Theres a work around to simulate the clearing of a jam, most of the way down :

Personally I think its a bit overmodeled, the 27mm Mauser in the Typhoon should be way more reliable than i is in game. Every single time I use it I get off between 4 and 7 rounds on my first burst and thats it... Dosnt really seem to happen often to me on other birds.
